Incredible to think this was more than 10 years ago already.. I actually first saw this speech not because I listened to McFly, but because I was a huge fan of Tom's sister, Carrie Hope Fletcher. She used to be a VERY active and popular youtuber back in the day and has been an amazing musical actress for years. She's not as active on YouTube anymore, but who has the time for that when you're playing shows on London's West End and around the world! (Young Eponine in Les Miserables as a child, adult Eponine years later, Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family, Veronica in Heathers: The Musical, Cinderella in Andrew Lloyd Webbers' Cinderella, and more.) I know you have a very full list of people to react to already, but it would be lovely if you could fit one of her performances in at some point. Because you're already a fan of Tom, I think her and Tom's version of Love is on the Radio together from about 10 years ago might be interesting. Or if you're willing to jump into something of her own: "Crazier Than You" (from The Addams Family), "Bad Cinderella" and "I Know I Have A Heart" (from Cinderella). And I will always have a soft spot for her old original "Boys In Books Are Better" (Live at SitC Friday).

2024-03-12 00:17:10 +0000 UTCThe kids choir are from the school Tom and his wife Gi met when they were 13. Hits even harder when you know that. Tom took her back to the school (the room) where they met to propose to her. And they do have kids 3 boys.

2024-03-11 22:16:28 +0000 UTCfun fact- no one knew he was doing this, apart from danny, who helped him make the music for it, but even danny didn't knew what tom had changed the lyrics to, he just produced the mix of the backing track :) and.. the choir that come out at the end are the choir of the school that tom and gi met at when they were 13 .. tom proposed to her there years later in the same room that they met in ❤️ yes they do have kids now.. 3 .. Buzz,Buddy and Max :)
