I'm so excited for this journey with you! Random Food for thought....I have been army since 2017 so I wasn't there from the start. However, I still LOVE all their debut and early stuff. I was thinking if we love their early stuff BECAUSE we love them now? What if we heard this from the getgo would we still have loved it with out knowing anything about them? Also I didn't get RM tattooed on me for no reason and hes my ult for no reason! I love him for the same reasons you mentioned. I love how deep and poetic he is. I've never seen a lyricist like him before. You can write a whole curriculum for literature and English classes just from his lyrics!

I enjoyed this so much! This was my first time listening to this album from start to finish too- like I had heard most of the songs before but not sat sown and listened in order like this. I can't to go through this BTS discography journey with you dude! From one (fairly) new army to another - let's do this thing!

I'm excited for this discography journey, it's really interesting looking back cuz for me you can see the small seeds being planted of what they can do but the development & growth is still impressive even though I thought they were great from the beginning albums already. I honestly think they used auto tune for the effect & a lot of rap at the time was using it so I think it was more a stylistic choice. Although I will say I think the rappers sometimes use it because they aren't as confident with singing perhaps, I got that feeling from some of Suga's work but he has been working so hard on his vocals these last few years especially & the members like Jin have been so supportive helping him practice. Ngl kinda lost it when I heard him sing Amygdala on Road to D-Day docu because I'd love to that have version, I got a bit teary eyed. Many army love path, it's a hidden gem. I absolutely love their b-sides too, they have so many great ones. I know at this point you've heard a lot of their discography already but it's still nice to see you enjoy ones that are new for you. For "I like it" I don't think the words have changed just different interpretations of translations. It's always funny to me when people get shocked in their newer music when they curse when they did a lot in their old albums too lol. In "I Like it" it was cleverly done with dial tone beeps but in other song's they don't mask it. They might sensor themselves more on some title tracks so it won't be banned from TV/radio or during the Love Myself series cuz of the messages but they don't shy away from it. I can recall watching a practice for "ON" were Suga was mouthing "I don't give a fuck" but being it was the main title I can see why it's "I don't give an uh", it still gets the point across just with wider appeal. I'm excited for the next album, it's amazing to me how some songs like We On have grown on me to become one of my fav tracks or song's like Attack on Bangtan that I didn't appreciate until seeing them do a live performance at a concert. I think AOB is one of those songs of theirs that is better live

First, love you Britta! π You can see from the very beginning that there was something different, something special about these boys. I'm going to enjoy going through this series with you, seeing their journey into becoming legends. In the words of RM in Butter,"Let's gooooo" πβΎοΈ

Hahaha, you made me laugh there at the end and you know what, I have what you are looking for with subs and all. But you have to stream it from my Patreon page or download the videos. For the concert/tour videos, I can send you the SRT (subtitle) file by mail.
BTS's first tour was The Red Bullet Tour October 17, 2014 β August 29, 2015. Before that BTS had their first Muster on March 29, 2014, in Seoul. It was followed by a Fanmeeting in Japan on May 31, 2014, and during the summer they had Fanmeetings in Berlin, Stockholm, and SΓ’o Paulo. I have a 2014 collection where you can find it all with all the "making films" etc that are there.
On YouTube, you can find what was happening during 2013. I don't have my YouTube files available right now but there is a lot of fun stuff to watch. If you find a video on BangtanTV without a subtitle, just search for the same file and add Eng sub. BangtanSUB has translated so much πππππππ
