I was scanning through your videos on One OK Rock for precisely the kind of bio you mentioned near the end of your comments. So, I really hope you do it. I'd love to see something like that on all of the bands you're covering here.

I’m soo into the idea of a ONE OK ROCK video. I feel like us fans know a lot about them but there aren’t many actual sources for information aside from things they’ve said in concerts and documentaries. Some translations here and there. So a video about them would be really helpful, I think many people (esp new fans) would appreciate it. It would help spread the word about them too. It just might get tricky to find reliable sources. Honestly, I’d love to help with this even if might only be with information. Or ideas. Maybe you could open up a thread here on Patreon (or on YouTube) with questions so we can all help answer them with our combined ONE OK ROCK knowledge. Help out with sources. It would be fun!

Ooo yes! Keep it real, please! I’d love to see a reaction to that, such a good song

I think this video was from the Zankyo Reference tour in 2012 judging by what he is wearing. Even before the more recent albums with all the different producers, Taka's lyrics and music was awesome even from their earlier days. I am really looking forward to your experiences in Tokyo and am so glad that you are such a great One OK Rock fan! I hope that they know who you are because you really are a big fan of theirs and hope you get to meet them.

Honestly Taka has really opened up over the years! I think you'll find that he was a bit more shy back then. When Toru first found him, Taka was singing while looking at the ground. Looking forward to the album reactions! And I'll be sure to vote for 35xxxv for the next concert poll 😏

Thank you for doing reactions to both MV and live performance. I really like that when you do it. Maybe you should add lyrics video reaction, too :) especially for their older songs since they had more Japanese lyrics in those. As for your idea of making their introduction video, I always thought about doing that myself but didn't know where to start, so if I can get involved in the process in any way and help you out, that would be an awesome experience for me. It's less than 3 weeks till the concert and now I am getting very excited! For the next full concert reaction, I think it does make sense to do 35 tour because some songs from the album/tour are heavier and would fit for the "brother fight" concert. If you are interested in listening to their real old songs, I would love to see you react to "Keep It Real", both MV and live concert. I really like the song.

Thank you for doing all this. I am so very excited to enjoy the week in Japan as well as the concert through your eyes! I’m not sure how I can help but I don’t mind helping in any way I can. Sending all the good vibes your way!

The message is 😭 so powerful. Taka wrote this for his friends and the title is acronym of their initials. But in 2020 this song will never be the same to Taka and for the fans. One of his friend who is the last H (I believed), died at that time, few weeks before the field of wonder concert. That is why he said during the rehearsal in Flip a Coin, “I cannot sing through my tears”, if you remember that? he dedicated that performance to his late friend. And that was the saddest version of chaosmyth we have heard.

Shicelle

So this song was written by Taka for a group of friends that he has, 9 of them and each letter of the song stands for the surname of one of the friends. He wrote it because he wanted to wish for all of them to live in happiness. However, there is now a lot of sadness in the song and he has said that he will no longer perform it because it’s too painful. His friend Haruma Miura, a Japanese acting star from Attack on Titan and many others committed suicide in 2020. Haruma is the last H in Chaosmyth.

https://youtube.com/shorts/baGDizPuhZA?si=gX2stLHfyMvPhjXj This is the story of how Taka got recruited into One Ok Rock. I don't mind helping you with the stuff. I know too much about them >_> lol

Neon Moonlight

I love that this song is about his friends that he met in his teenage years. Each letter in C.H.A.O.S.M.Y.T.H. is the first letter either the first name or surname of his friends. <-- was trying to post that on youtube but kept getting an error.
