Metal Vocalist First Time Reaction -Dimash Qudaibergen - Akkuym / My Swan [Official MV]

I'll just say that girl is crazy. And I add: How sexy to see Dimash angry and passionate. He's not always a angel.

Please react to Dimash MV „Quairan Elim https://youtu.be/K45qdRAIWaM?si=ypoIfus7ourfsD6E

I think the difference is that Aqquym was written by a different composer who had some maturity behind him, Dimash wrote Okinish to exorcise what he was feeling in that moment.

Funnily enough it is as interesting for me to see my favourite reactors' reactions (and especially analysis if they do that) to my lesser favourite pieces as it is to my favourites. I get to experience them from a fresh perspective and always find new appreciation. This has never been my favourite MV, as a matter of fact, i don't think it's really that great, even if very well made of course. And Akkuym, i do love some parts of it and some live versions are very beautiful, but in general, it's far from being anywhere near my favourites. He sang it in concerts for a few years but it hasn't been part of his repertoire for quite a while now. It's one of his oldest music videos, btw. Could I please request you react to Dimash's beautiful rendition of an old Armenian song from his concert in Yerevan in April this year? He only heard the song one day before the concert and seemingly loved it so much he wanted to sing it. I don't know how he had the time to learn it but there you go. (This song is often played with the traditional Armenian wind instrument duduk.) It was he highlight for many who attended. https://youtu.be/b-ZMNjNPhBM?si=y6F-2FMLlIluWHad

This is a beautiful song! Love love your reaction to Di!! Waiting for the full concert reaction 🥰

I didn’t know that, thanks for the info. That’s too bad, but I’m glad he’s using the time to work on his music!

I really like this song, the instrumentals are beautiful! Many times I've thought that this is like the 2.0 version of Okinish. Okinish is raw, filled with hurt, feelings of betrayal, dissapointment and regret, just spontaneous, raw and uncensored emotions. Aqquym for me is a more calm, reasonable and reflected version of a breakup song, still painful but showing more processed emotions.

We all agree she downgraded from Dimash. It is non-fiction of course but many of us can relate. Dimash’s vocals are so beautiful and sad. He conveys the songs message perfectly through his expert vocals.

Dena Currie

He's not studying film making, he said in the Oppo interview that it would take too much time away from his music and so he gave the scholarship to someone who deserved it more.

Debs Morgan

I think the downgrade guy is someone who will promote her art. She basically chose becoming rich and famous over true love. But clearly she’s deranged lol. Dimash’s MVs are works of art in their own right. He’s currently living in LA and I think will be studying film making, as well as working on a new album apparently!

John do you know when you will start the concert reaction? I have been patiently waiting lol can't wait and will see you soon.. love the way you end your videos so I will also say FREAKING TOODLES!! LOL 🤣

Misty

I also love Dimash as a balladeer and as always liking your reactions too❤️

Enrique Vargas

It doesn't have the subtitles admittedly but it has to be better than the edited version on Dimash's channel, I tried to watch that one again and it was so bad I couldn't make it through the second half at all.

Debs Morgan

May there is one time that I can recall him singing it solo in concert exactly like he sang it in the MV. I think it might have been the Moscow concert but I'm not absolutely sure but I know I've seen it.

Debs Morgan

The Love of Tired Swans has a beautiful video and it's also missing from the NY concert. Dimash has a lot of versions on his channel. Mademoiselle Hyde is also missing but on his channel.

Seelia

I love this version. Originally its a duet which he sings at his Bastau concert, and it was a bit faster tempo. But i prefer this one.

Hitomi Ochiai

The only issue with the nonedited wolf rock version is the songs have no subs. And Dimash does his best to use only English so no issues communicating there. And i was rewatching that one too to see if I was going to recommend it, but other Dears beat me to it. Lol.

Hitomi Ochiai

No for real thank you for the MV request! I love his music videos they feel like movies and I love it! Can’t wait to see his full concert!

John Reaves

Ohhhh! Lol well for sure I’ll be reacting to that one then 🙏 thank you for real!

John Reaves

My friend Sarataz07 has the full concert in NY on her YT channel. It’s been so long since I watched though so I’m not quite sure about the quality.

I am glad you enjoyed this one. I knew I was taking a chance requesting this version. While I like the concert versions, Dimash has always invited a female artist to sing it with him. They are amazing of course. Just I feel that the feeling and story he put into the MV gets lost. While I enjoy those versions I honestly would love to see him perform this by himself on stage. He seems to bring the melancholy alive and you feel the hurt and bewilderment of how did we get here. The live versions feel more theatrical, though nothing wrong with that. 😊

Maykacha

John we tried to leave you the link for the full New York concert as it first was shown on Dimash's channel before it was edited. I don't know if you thought that was a fancam version but it's not. It's the official version just saved before all the cuts were made. It's not just about the songs that were removed, the editing was terrible and songs have been cut in half. His interaction with the Dears has been removed as well so that's why we sent you the links for the version on the Wolf Rock channel.

Debs Morgan

It's a shame that you couldn't get it through, some people have but it's been like pearls before swine unfortunately.

Debs Morgan

Thank you for your reaction to this beautiful music video. Dimash is so real, emotional in his story telling it’s easy for me to forget the song is about a character, not necessarily himself. He captures the depth of love, the ache of love loss, so evocatively. Heartbreaking. 🦢🦢Bittersweet.

Janeonthelane

She seriously downgraded, and yes, that has definitely happened to me. This is such a beautiful song, and terribly sad. What makes it so much sadder is that Dimash was close friends with the composer and his family, the composer passed away at the age of 48, leaving behind a wife and young child, it’s so sad. Thank you John, I love this video ❤️.

Janet Lawson

It’s one of my favorite MV, the instruments used sounds so beautiful. I’m looking forward to the next concert reaction. Thanks John!❤️
