BABYMETAL - Doki Doki Morning LIVE

Ok We're doing a double reaction here and it will be worth it I promise! Lets freaking talk about it!

BABYMETAL - Doki Doki Morning LIVE

Comments

ahhh, from the first song Babymetal was a beast.

The song has only gotten better live as the years have gone by. I would recommend not doing a poll if you want to be prepared for your concert in time. There are only three that have the vast majority songs you will possibly hear live and the chronological order is Returns (make sure it's Blu-ray), Begins Black Night, and then Clear Night, all from 2023. They are also the only concerts relevant to the current lore happening right now. Older concerts can wait until after your concert, and not doing these in chronological order will be really weird from a lore perspective. Two options I think are the best: Watch all three concerts in order, or skip Returns and go to Black Night and watch Doki Doki Morning from Returns before hand.

Yes that was their live stage debut at the first Sakura Gakuin 'festival' in November 2011 - Su was still only 12, Yui and Moa were both 11 (but they were tiny and looked younger). I explained most of what the song is about on Youtube - it really is that innocent - but there is more as they were also looking to the future, wanting to explore the world and other dimensions ... they have certainly explored the world and their lore seems to have taken them to other dimensions as well. They have been playing this song live this year, they have also brought back the second song they ever released - 'Iine' (that is iine pronounced ee-neh). You thought this one was confusing? You need to see and hear that if you didn't already. There is also an early full live video of that on Youtube from March 2012 at the 2011 Sakura Gakuin graduation show.

The first performance was before they were really an independent act. It is the Sakura Gakuin performance from the first year of SG (2010). If you really want to know Babymetal you should react to one of the guides. There are 2 or 3 good ones out there.

So yes this is the first song. Remember they were 11-13 when this song came out. So it is about something 11-13 year olds would think about. Their music has always been age appropriate no matter how hard the music.
