Just some info. Jimin was actually the first member to get tattoos. And JK was the second and the other now only have the 7 tattoo. He originally had NEVERMIND on his ribs, 13 on his wrist and on the back of each elbow he has Young on his left back elbow and Forever on the right back elbow. He has since added Youth behind his left ear, number 7 on his finger, and a moon sequence down his spine. I believe he got his first tattoo or tattoos in 2014. The ones all over his torso are fake but it a very beautiful German poem. Lots of ARMY have translated it 💜💜💜

In the first half you do see one of Jimin's tats peaking through his shirt. It says Nevermind (It's covered for the poetry in the second part). His '13' and some of his moons are easily spotted too, and I caught of glimpse of his "Youth" behind his ear and 7 friendship tat on his finger. :)
This song and video are so good!!! <3 I was also speechless lol

Haha Jimin's not playin' haters, ya heard what he said,"F**K OFF!!"😳😂 PDOGG said Jimin was gonna break/kill KPop!!" 😆😂 I feel a massive migraine meltdown happening in the music industry, period!!! They (esp. scammys etc) do all they can to mistreat these men, this is Jimin's anthem (for himself & his band of brothers), SO if scammys etc can't handle or respect BTS, as a group of 7 extremely talented, artistic, musically gifted performers and entertainers, then how in the hell are they going to try to stop & suppress the 7 of them individually?
Oh this just got even more interesting!! Congratulations Jimin, so happy and proud of you!! You absolutely slayed this!!! WOWW!

I have a love hate relationship with this song and video. It will probably grow on me as has happened before with “my boys”. Thankfully I read the other comments posted here so I have a better understanding of the intent.

I heard somewhere (but I can’t remember where) that his dance teachers were upset that he chose to go into Kpop and really tried hard to talk him out of it. They felt the world was losing an amazing dancer. I’m so glad he had the courage to cling to what he wanted and look at him now!

haha the Jimin effect got you John! Just like it got us all truly Jimin is a beautiful person inside and out no wonder he's my bias. Also musically I was getting a bit of a blood sweat & tears vibe, did anyone else notice this?

yes I noticed it was the choreo from Lie too the bit where they lift him up! I relate to Jimin so much, I am a Jimin bias and it was sooo nice to see this - him letting go and embracing his self esp on his own without any backup from the other members you know it's like he is showing us he is strong enough to stand up for himself on his own and it was so empowering it made me so happy for him. Words cannot express how much I loved this MV. Haha sorry for the long comment

Someone already posted the Rilke poem lyrics for you, so here’s what I really wanna convey. I first saw BTS in Sept. 2020, their performance of Black Swan on the Jimmy Fallon show. It was Jimin’s charisma and technical skill that hit me the hardest at the time, because I’ve been devoted to contemporary dance and ballet for decades (being an old woman of 74 now). I said to myself then that he could have been the 21st century’s Nureyev had he gone into ballet. Now I say, Park Jimin is to the blend of 21st century hip hop/modern dance what Nureyev was to 20th century ballet.

Yeah this is insane! I literally watched it on repeat for 13 hours straight. Not an exaggeration. I want him to smash all the records. Friggin Masterpiece!! A work of ART! The story telling choreo, the lyrics, literally everything about this means something. Regarding the tats. So Jimin has several real ones. The one under his rib cage says Nevermind. The crescent moon you saw on the back of his neck is also real. He has them on the backs of his triceps, fingers, behind the ear and inside of his wrist. I think I got ‘em all.🤔 The shirtless tats was an actual beautify German poem. #borahae #apobangpo #jimin #지민

Jimin is such an incredible human. My take on this video is that it's a telling Jimin's journey of embracing himself and owning his narrative. There were so many choreographic echoes of Lie, and ON, even Filter. His costuming illustrates this journey too, from the early days when he was the 'tough manly' one, with the dark, aggressive exterior slowly stripped away until we're left with the soft, purer inner self at the end. This self that's revealed when he finally sets himself free is at once the most vulnerable, yet strongest version of him. He's taking all the expectations that have been placed on him, all the scrutiny and criticisms and policing from society, and instead of molding himself to fit into what others expect, he's subverting those very things, and using them to free himself from them. I don't know if I can explain myself well. There's just so much to this entire video. Not the least of which... Jimin's lower register at the beginning?

I think we all were shaken to the core, screaming, jaw dropped, mouth open you name it. But most of all my tears were for Jimin- I am soooo proud of him. He's bloomed and I am looking forward to his music, artistry and dance. Enjoyed your reaction- totally related to your reaction! 😂

The tattoo you first noticed under his shirt is his nevermind tattoo under his peck on his rib. The last tattoo you noticed is a series of moon phases down the center of his back. He has several others too.
The wording is on a see through shirt to match his skin tone. It’s from a poem in German. “I live my life in growing rings” by Rainer Maria Rilke.
“I live my life in ever-expanding circles that extend beyond all things. I may not finish the last one, but I intend to try. I circle around God, around the old tower, and I’ve circled for thousands of years; and I do not know yet: am I a hawk, a storm, or a mighty song.”
This MV Choreography & Music had a hold on me. It’s visually and musically beautiful art!

“I live my life in ever-widening circles that stretch themselves out over all the things. I won’t, perhaps, complete the last one, but I intend on trying. I circle around God, around the ancient tower, and I circle for thousands of years; and I don’t know, yet: am I a falcon, a storm, or a mighty song.”

I loved all of it, but the end? That was choreography from “Lie.” He finally broke the lie (maybe stopped lying to himself?) and set himself free to be his true self. At least that’s what I took from it. I literally gasped the second time I watched and put it together. Plus, I’m pretty sure at one point there is the same music as what plays just before JK’s solo in ON. On to the tattoos - he has Nevermind on his rib cage, which is what you saw through the cut in his shirt. He has a moon phase tattoo down his back based on fan art that V found and sent him and he has a few others. The writing on his chest, though, is a poem by Rainer Maria Rilke in the original German. I’ll try to find the translation someone did, but I do remember that it was a perfect choice.

I’ve watched this MV about 2 dozen times now. It gets better with each listen. The dancers are one of the best things in the video because their movements help tell the story. It’s such an epic sounding song. And Jimin has never looked or sounded better. He has shocked everyone with his amazing vocals, dance, and visuals. (Shocked but not surprised. We knew he had the talent.) I’m so happy for him since he has often been so insecure about his abilities.
