I was already a fan but not quite an ARMY, it would have taken flying off to France (from Ukraine) just to see them and I didn't have a lot of spare money and just started a new job I was reluctant to take day offs. I reasoned that if I really liked them I could just get the next concert.... Next tour was canceled due to covid and then they only performed in States where I won't ever get a visa. And now onto 2025 I'm going to wait...

2023-02-26 04:32:00 +0000 UTCPromise is always a song that hits me hard. I have struggled with depression and PTSD for a few years now. I saw an interview that Jimin did where he expressed that when he first started writing the song, he was in a very dark place (suicidal). When he finished the song he was in a much better place and he wanted to make it something very positive for people who are in the same position he was. I listen to Promise every day to remind myself not to give up. It is hard to imagine because these guys are so often larger than life that they are still young men going through the difficulties of life in a high stress environment. I am 55 years old and sometimes feel they are way wiser than I will ever be. Thank you for your reactions and for your positive words and energy. I really appreciate you. 💜💜

Especially Jimin and Namjoon since the track list of Jimin’s album just came out and Namjoon has 3 writing credits. It makes me think of how singer-songwriters usually have a co-writer that they like to collaborate with. I laughed when you wonder why Yoongi was running and the song that just finished was Fake Love, it’s tough but at least they all take turns and give each other a breather before having to go back on stage. And I think it definitely may have stung Jungkook when Hobi said trust but I also think he needed to hear it. It was constructive criticism especially since they were in very hot climate place and what happened to JK in Chille…yeah so it was necessary. Also since they are on tour you don’t want to give 100% of your energy all the time cause you’ll burn out. You got give 70% but make it look like 100%.

Just an idea. 🙂 And yes, haha, I'm pretty sure RM is the secret mastermind behind every song ever. 😂

I was relieved that Suga & RM recognized that & lightened the moment or they at least tried to. He still looked pretty devastated. I wish JK wasn’t so hard on himself. I think he feels immense pressure to always be perfect because everyone always talks about how he’s good at everything. He used to cry backstage after performances over a single small mistake & would always say he wasn’t good enough. I do think he’s matured a lot since then. I have noticed that he laughs at himself over small mistakes in the post lockdown concerts & that makes me very happy for him.
