Burn The Stage Ep 8

Just catching up with your reactions. And must say that I love, love how you encouraged your daughter to listen to BTS. Good job, Dad.

6 of the 7 (not J-Hope) have had to sit on a chair on stage due to a physical injury, but so they could sing. They call it the "Chair of Reflection".. This series precedes the hardest year of their career - 2018. Two massive tours. months on the road for each, and they felt too exhausted to carry on. I hope that's covered honestly next in Bring the Soul,

I thought only first time on TV in the US. But you're right, just there and back.

SusieToo

That wasn't a concert in LA. That was their first time performing on AMA and was televised across the world.

I know when I mention how much I love BTS I get sneered at…but my gosh if they would start from their beginning like watching Rise of Bangtang or just listen to documentaries on BTS they would be changed….these boys started about as low on the social scale as you can get…they achieved their success thru VERY HARD WORK, PERSEVERANCE, and DRIVE….they didn’t step on anyone or hurt anyone to get there….they have respect towards mankind they didn’t feel sorry for themselves…they just worked harder….it’s all they know…their honesty integrity and their genuine good nature are what drew me in after of course hearing just a few of their masterpieces. They will never know who I am but I genuinely love these guys not as musicians which goes without saying, but as family….they are the kindest most respectful and gracious people I have ever seen. NOONE will ever top them or for at least another 100 years. and John never apologize for your feelings towards or about certain members EVERYONE has a RIGHT to their opinion…it is an opinion because a member has touched someone in ways that they needed validity in and since we’ve all had different life experiences not everything is goin to agree 💯 percent with others …it doesn’t make it right or wrong..just makes it different 🙏sorry for the rant…thanx for sharing this with us.💜💜💜

i love documentaries like this, so much they shared with us. Remember the beginning they said they want to show us the true sides of them and they did.

the actor Jin was talking about was Kim Nam Gil Born 1980. they have since met each other and become friends. the latest time we see them is with chef Baek JongWon where the three got together to taste the rice wine makgeolli that they had made on the series the drunken truth.

Just a random comment. I laughed when you apologized for the volume being low, then turned it up. I don't understand Korean (I don't think you do either) but it annoys me when I can't hear what the guys are saying while I'm reading the subtitles... I find that pretty funny. You talked about Jimin being on stage even though he couldn't dance. BTS members are on stage even though they cannot participate fully. Management and members know that sidelining an injured member backstage would be psychologically devastating for them, so they're allowed to participate (e.g. Jin when he injured his hand-twice; JK when he hurt his foot, etc.) ... I'm sure there are a lot of other instances I don't remember, or that we weren't aware of.

Yeah, I remember there was a behind the scenes for a Run BTS episode and some of the members were exercising, but Jimin had his own he was doing. It wasn’t safe for him to do what the others were doing because of his injuries, so he was doing what a trainer had taught him. He even missed their British TV debut performance and interview due to his reoccurring neck/muscle pain. They didn’t really include that in the next documentary series though. There are just a couple brief scenes where a member asks if he’s okay or another telling him not to push himself, but the context isn’t really there for those who aren’t privy as to what was going on at that time.

ahhhhh Bring the Soul! thats what it was!!! so movie first then Bring the Soul! :) thank you for letting me know! I didnt know that about Jimin either, its insane how much they will endure to put on an amazing show and memory for ARMY

The next in the series should be Bring the Soul, then Break the Silence 😊 if you want to go chronologically of cause 😅😉 Also about Jimin. He suffers from multible chronic injuries because of his dancing. Especially from his hard core practice when he was younger. So he'll get stiff and sore in the neck, shoulder and back. Sometimes when he pushes himself to hard, he'll get these serious muscle spasms, that makes him unable to perform/dance. He also has a knee injury, that flares up once in a while. He really does give it all on that stage and I'm so proud of him still being there, even though it must be painful for him to just watch. Knowing that dancing and performing is his life.
