Suga too. They have to respect their elders. That guy was never seen again.

SusieToo

why iu can't watch it?

amiaa

Yeah same! honestly It went from HAHAHAH to WTF is wrong with that guy!? I love how different the show is not after episode 2 though, fully different vibes

One of the only times I've seen Jin truly angry was when Dante hit him. That cold, quiet anger hits different from his rapid-fire rants. :-D

John I agree with everything you said, Coolio needed to chill out, he was so rude, they are from a very different culture than we are, then with the language barrier and they were just kids here, V was like 17/18 I think & JK probably 16, thankfully this didn’t seem to effect him too bad, he looked so scared in the 1st few episodes, 1st the kidnapping & then Coolio being a D, he was upset when he made V do the push ups, don’t know if you say him asking RM to please stop him, but they did learn things & JK, V & Suga perform at the concert and omg they did so good, they did one of my favorite songs, can’t wait for you to see it BTW I’m down with watching eat Jin with ya

As the Series is SO early in their development, I found it fascinating that the Seeds of who they would individually become (hobbies, interests, insecurities) are here.

I hope you will be able to check out the unreleased AHL clips. They are hidden gems. I was so happy to see 3Js(Jimin, J-hope, jk) having a nice time paired with tony. Same with V and RM, even though they couldn't really cook. I felt so bad for Jin and Suga. Especially because they are the hyungs of the group. The way Dante was treating them was so over the line and disrespectful. But besides that, i feel you can see that Coolio is meaning to be tough on them for a reason. It just is a bit too abrasive or rude i think.

I felt so bad for V, RM, Suga and Jin in this episode. V and RM had no idea how to cook at that time so they focused on their performance. It's too bad Coolio took everything so seriously. It would have made for a better episode if he just found them funny. And when he slapped V's back really hard I thought that was uncool too. His comment that "they will get him right" as if something is wrong with V was a crappy thing to say. As for Dante's horrible treatment of Jin and Suga, he should be ashamed of himself and I'm glad he won't be in the rest of the episodes. All of the guys are such special people who deserved to be treated better.

I think eps 3-8 are the best so it gets better after this episode. AHL is in my top 3 fave shows of BTS along with Bon Voyage and Run BTS. It’s like a bootcamp so there’s harshness in the atmosphere and plenty of challenges. I saw a lot of grit and passion from the boys from this show that made me appreciate and respect them more!! No wonder they are as big as they are now because of their work ethics and attitude!! And BTS being Boys with Fun this show has plenty of comedy and fun moments because that just how our boys are 🤣🤣😊😊 I hope you also find the Behind The Scenes episodes for extra content and more fun stuff!

Ugh. I hated the “cooking” episode, forgot until Coolio said he was going to judge it. Oh well. Much better episodes coming up next.

Dante was just rude! I am glad he is not in the rest of the series. However the episode do get better from here.

I find this difficult because there are cultural differences that aren’t being respected at all. I realize that this was a boot camp situation but they’re so very young and inexperienced in life as a whole. I can’t imagine anyone walking up to strangers houses in the middle of day in a foreign country where you don’t speak the language. How many of us could barely get up and speak in front of our classmates in school without abject fear? When Dante hit Jin! That was unacceptable and I thought Yoongi was going to go into shock. They goof around but always respect Jin as he is the eldest. I know they learned valuable life lessons from the experience but I feel for them especially V. He’s such a sweet, unique individual. I’d love to watch Jin Eats. The VLives are very special moments where you really get to to understand them as individuals.

Yes I would like to have seen any off camera interactions they had with him to see if there were normal conversations. I've seen many comments that IRL he was a very nice guy (RIP) so I wonder if he was told by the producers to come in and be a hard ass. After this episode it felt less abrasive and more mentoring in nature. You will notice going forward Dante is no longer there which imo was the right choice after his bad behavior with Jin and Yoongi. Tae was already my bias before the show but managed to endear himself even more with me during the show. He is such a free-spirited soul and he is freaking hilarious in this. And yes they were recording an album at the same time they were filming this. By the end of the series you can see how exhausted they all are and ready to go home. 💜

Hmmm how can I say this. Ok I will try with this example. Those of you that are parents, have you ever seen your kids do something that is absolutely hilarious but wrong and shouldn’t be doing at the same time? Because you are trying to teach them responsibilities you have to scold them or act serious so you can get your point across that what they are doing is not acceptable. When all you really want to do is laugh your fricking arse off! Like a serious try not to laugh challenge. That’s what I get when I see Coolio in many of the scenes. Like the cooking section of V & RM building the sandwich. When I try not to laugh I will clinch my teeth and even hold my breath. I swear there were a couple of times I saw Coolio do that. I thought he wasn’t going to be able to hold it back and burst out laughing. I think that is why he had to turn his back to V. What kind of message would he be sending them if he would have burst out laughing like many of did when he was trying to teach them. He gave them such great words of wisdom after that competition. Again when he was reacting to V, he wanted to make sure V is taking things seriously because what he is being taught will help him not only in his career but in life. If V was alway joking around it could also affect the group from learning by also not taking it seriously. That would have been a shame. You have to look at the whole picture. That’s just my two cents on this episode. Oh John Jin & Suga are the cooks with a bit of JK too. Keep RM out of the kitchen. 😂 I love the groups, 3Js, Hyung’s & God of destruction + the Jester (for laughs) Thanks for reacting to this series. And yes let’s watch Jin eats! 💜🫰

I'm not sure how it was back then, but now the ones who cook the best are Jin, Suga and JK. RM and V are the ones that should stay out of the kitchen and they know it. They were fully aware that they would not be able to impress him so they played it save and to be honest, Coolio should be glad about that. I don't want to talk bad about them and I really love them, but yeah, they can't cook. And I felt so bad for V the entire time. He is such a sweet man and does not deserve that harsh treatment.
