I feel episodic conflict that doesnt carry multiple episodes written like this one here would really elevate disventure camp to a new level.

2024-10-04 17:22:50 +0000 UTCI liked the episode a lot and that's a prove something without any sad backstories can be done right. I'm still not convinced to Derek and Trevor as a couple though. While I don't think Derek and Christal had enough chemistry between them, I don't see it between Derek and Trevor neither, even less tbf. And I mean romantic chemistry by that because I think they both have amazing dynamic as friends and that's a shame it will no longer be like that. I also think that Trevor would make a great couple with Emily (I still have fingers cross for that to happen).

I'm hoping for more ship worthy moments in the upcoming season though. Also, even though I said it felt kind of forced. I'd be lying if I didn't say I thought the ending was super adorable. Now that this spinoff is finished I do hope some of these side characters return. Christoph, the ghost hunting trio and moose would all be fun ones to see again. I'd say Jensen's sister but for obvious reasons that's definitely not happening 😅

Totally knew Derek and Trevor would accidentally kiss in the bathtub. Derek was such a cool friend to Moose, and it’s nice to see how Trevor and Derek formed the name of the series. Seeing the cameo of a few of the 1st 2 generation contestants was an enormous nostalgic treat as well as Derek and Trevor’s moment at the end. This whole spinoff was honestly more entertaining than the whole 1st 3 seasons put together and I can’t wait for Tom-Jake. I have a feeling David Benton Jr. played that Network executive. That toilet wasn’t easy to look at. Lol. 😂 No diss to the character designers, but why the prominent Adam’s apples for characters like Yul, Jensen, Howard, Marcus, and other one-shot characters? 9.8/10

2024-10-01 23:30:32 +0000 UTCThoughts: Every epic journey starts somewhere. It would be so good if we see Moose again someday, he was so precious, I just wanted to give him a big old hug. Anxiety representation was giving me life throughout his arc. I loved how Derek and Trevor were giving odd couple vibes when they met, no kiss happened between the OGs but it happened here, first kisses are amazing even if unconventional. Even back then, their hosting abilities came so naturally, they kept working on their dreams, eventually they came through and the rest is history. It was a shame we didn't get to see the deleted scene between the two of them at the carnival reinstated but the scene with them on the couch was even better. That's what true love is. I'm so proud to see how far Derek has come personality wise, Trevor has never changed which I love and together, they're going to take Disventure Camp by storm once again, this time as a couple. Trevek Fans Rejoice. A brilliant conclusion to the staff stories and I can't wait to see how they handle my babies Tom and Jake's story after this. All my love to you Odd Nation Cartoons, you always blow me away.

Also, you're telling me that Trevek's first kiss was during a fight in a dirty bathtub?!? Bro, Lmao. And then that ending, so cuuuuute, Trevek is and will always be canon! This was honestly a great way to end Staff Stories, and now I'm looking forward to what lies ahead in Tom-Jake!
