This is to help stop assholes from ruining it for fans who aren't able to afford it! It's not a big deal I found it alot more satisfying waiting for the elimination I was more excited and surprised by the outcome

I pay $40 to support because I love your project but if you take away big perks then I honestly cannot see myself financially support you guys anymore. I recommend putting the early access episodes on patron ONLY because if you post in on YouTube anyone with the link can leak the episodes and they can leak the episode which will cause a chain reaction. The only episodes that should be on YouTube are the Saturday episodes when everyone else can watch them. I never leaked anything in my live because I’ve worked with companies that have me sign non-disclosure agreements and I co-own a successful small businesses and I respect the hard work that gets put into these but when you try to punish the leakers you end up punishing everyone else that follows the rules which is not a good business move especially if they’re financially supporting you. You’ll likely lose supporters and you’ll lose money. I seen it happen with many business before.

Being able to watch the full episodes ahead of time has been a big perk for the patreon, including getting to see who's gone before anyone else

Also, most people joined Patreon to avoid the leaks from eliminations and get early content, so this kind of defeats the whole purpose.

I sometimes disagree with the writing choices etc, but this show does hold a place in my heart which is why I want to support it, but if we don't get eliminations I don't see why I should remain one. Possibly I'll just lower my tier to get access to the discord still, but not sure tbh. If you guys still go through with it I totally understand why. The leakers have been a big issue this season, it's actually stupid that they ruin the show like that. They will become bigger and bigger sadly and I do see this as a possibly solution. I can't think of anything else to stop them really, minus removing early episodes which would likely make some of us leave faster.

2024-09-08 05:39:55 +0000 UTCYo pienso que ya depende de cada patreon, pero si creo que los que estarían un poco en desacuerdo o al menos una parte serían los niveles altos como winners o legends, porque están pagando por un producto para consumir lo antes posible, en mi experiencia, yo que soy nivel host si me he llegado a topar una variedad de contenido filtrado días antes de que se me permita visualizarlo aquí, de mi parte no me molestaría esperar, al menos a mí esas circunstancias me llegan a arruinar un poco la experiencia al igual que algunas personas que no tengan la posibilidad de tener patreon, cualquier decisión que tomen puede estar bien, solo tomen en cuenta las opiniones que dan en los comentarios para llegar a una mejor conclusión

Before I joined the patreon the episode were constantly getting spoiled for me because they get released while I'm working but with the patreon, I can watch it 5 days in advance and not worry about seeing it after everyone else does, since I'm typically amongst the first watching

I'm saying yes but I don't leak anything, I wouldn't dare even do that. I said yes because if I pay for early access to the episode it seems silly for me to not get access to the whole thing, I might as well not pay and just wait a few extra days to see it. If anything people will stop paying because of this, it wouldn't be the best financial move. Don't lump everyone who didn't say no in with the leakers.

Or have the full episode only be released at the highest tier and track those who are subbed. If things get leaked, you know the general pool and then you can take away that privilege and then everyone, regardless of the tier, can see up to the elimination but then everyone sees it together live on Saturday.

I didn't mind for the Finale since leaks and spoilers suck, but for regular episodes no way, that's very unfair. Plus most of the time you can tell who's going home anyways, so it kinda defeats the purpose doesn't it?

Because on one hand it’s best for you guys since you don’t wanna lose patrons since leakers exist and spoil the non patrons causing them not to bother becoming one. And on the other hand. It would be disappointing for us loyal patrons knowing the leakers are the reason we aren’t able to see the eliminations anymore. So I’d say probably.
