I feel like Connor winning would be the best possible outcome at this point. I know he’s a comeback contestant and all but it would just fit. He wants to earn something he’s proud of and something to earn by working for it. Connor is also just the most unproblematic which is a big plus. Grett will most likely be the new secret antagonist of this season and be the runner up. Grett already has her resolve of improving for her and HER alone and will play the game the best way she can to get what she wants. Honestly, after all that madness she had to put up with Yul she deserves to be one of the finalists to get that shot. I know there’s A LOT of people thinking Jake should win. It’s not a bad choice but I don’t think it fits. The mini series for one. Adding to this though, after Jake almost gave up his shot of Connor using his totem on him, a COMPLETE contrast to season 1, for the most part his character really has come full circle. Selfish to selfless, supported by others to being the support for Connor + Aiden. Also Jake knows the kind of person he wants to be now. Jake should be eliminated right before the motel episode so he can have a proper conclusion with Tom to lead up to the spin off. I could go with Either of these 3 winning but Connor is my favorable choice!

OMG Grett played so well in this episode. By voting with the "Villains" but telling Connor to use the Totem and telling them who to vote for, she gets out Alec, probably her biggest competition. Yes Riya is also her biggest competition, but Grett knows that Alec is a massive schemer, he could have switched to the Boy's side and eventually get her out. By doing this, and possibly sticking with Jake and Connor in the next vote, she can easily make her way into the Finale. She's killing the "Villains" from within. The only flaw in her plan is that Ally is starting to catch on, while Riya seems none the wiser. In the next episode, I can see her using Jake and Connor to further her plans and probably get Riya out, then possibly by the Final 4, betray Connor to take Jake and Ally to the Finals as she knows she can beat both of them. She knows that Jake and Ally would be so focused on each other and beating each other in the Final that she can just skate on by to the Final 2 and ensure her win.

Episode 16 characters debrief: Alec: I knew it was his time to … He got a lot character development and glad he fixed things with Connor! Glad he finally saw riya as the evil witch that she is. I totally thought he would win the challenge but I guess he’s lost his book smart touch. Ally: her and Jake beef is getting funnier and funnier. I’m glad she’s got passed her previous placement. She clearly working on her insecurities which nice and glad now she’s seeing Grett’s up to a something. She’s still got some story left. Connor: him and Alec patching things up is sweet. Both needed nice male companionship. Also it’s sweet he used his idol on Jake despite only being friends in couple a few episodes. Even if was all part of Grett’s plan. He’s a good guy who seems to know finally looks he’s got the upper hand on riya. That’s last scene with them made her really think her whole season of treating not just with him but probably with everyone as well. Grett: she’s honestly got the best character vibe. On one hand she’s mischievous schemer & on another hand she’s nicer relatable girl. She’s fully embrace herself and got so much better since season 1. Shes also using a similar strategy that riya did in season 2 by using everybody’s quarrel each other against each other. (Riya’s Karma) At least this time around she didn’t add to the fire of quarrel. She’s still purposely manipulate the players but not evil enough to call her a villain. Grett deserves that win today challenge and hope she makes the finale. Jake: he gotten more rootable last couple episodes. Him and ally are now the funniest rivalry on the show. Him not being athletic enough to climb the mountain was kinda sad and I’m worried if he does make the finale he will have trouble. Also I’m glad this time when someone used an idol on him and worked. Riya: she’s made the final 5 again. Her VA has been putting in the work for both seasons. Her only giving Alec a wave when he was leaving after everything they went through was cold. She’s alone in the game with no one to turn too. Connor now is focus on himself and sees her as the monster she is. I feel like her redemption arc will start next episode because after this episode I saw that she’s finally showing some more remorse for her actions. Hope riya ends on a good note but still received karma at the end.

Honestly I’m over both Jake & Ally. I’m not choosing any side cause they’re both behaving like children at this point. Yes Jake has started with Ally in the beginning he is the main reason for them beefing. I’m here for Jake changing as a person but the constant jabs and shade he keeps throwing towards Ally is not helping. And Ally I’m not letting her slide either. She has every right to dislike Jake but she keeps giving him a reaction and letting him get under her skin. That’s the same issue I had with the Aiden vs Jake drama. Personally, I don't play favourites. I just relate more to Jake than Ally, but I do understand they both similar mental health issues and both should be recognised equally for them. While I’ll admit Jake’s behavior has improved (even if this episode was a major backslide for him), he’s behaved just as bad earlier in the season, but Jake Stan’s defended his behavior then with their last breath. Meanwhile, Ally behaves the same way and everyone wants to put her head on a pike (though I’ll admit the bear thing was to far, I’m not blind to that). While I don’t condone Ally’s behavior, It’s clear the fandom has a massive Jake bias, and that’s all I want to say on the matter.

This is the highest their conflict ever rose. Even with Aiden and Jake, their conflict peaked in episode 10 but there was no physical contact with them. Ally and Jake literally had their hands on each other and had to be restrained. The probability for reconciliation so low it's within Earth's mantle core. Which I hope isn't the case because they were similar with their insecurities and deceased grandparents.

Thoughts: Marcus and Oliver, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for separating Jake and Ally, because they would have killed each other and we don't need that. Jake has come so far with his progress and Ally is yet to see the light and this storyline is definitely not over yet. I love Jake, I don't dislike or hate Ally, I actually like her, I'm just very disappointed in her. Like Jake, I believe Ally is a good person deep down but she needs to help herself through her mental health trauma, just like Jake is doing. Will they become friends afterwards? Don't think so. He said in season 1 his biggest mistake was sticking with Fiore. This season, he did go out to find more allies. Which he did with the original Villains Alliance and recruiting Gabby late pre-merge. But after that, he didn't really talk to anyone else. He sorta made the same mistake again. I think he would've stood more of a chance if he tried being more independent and not rely so much on others.

Well, it finally happened. I was hoping it wouldn’t, but it did: my boy Alec is gone, but at least he left on a much better note than his debut season. Shockingly, he was my second guess after Riya. Since episode 13, he’s been out of it and Grett’s pretty much replaced him as the GOAT, so I’ll live. 🙂 As for Riya, such a bitch, not that it’s a surprise anymore. Adding more fuel to the flame with Connor and Alec; cheating in the challenge by looking at Alec’s puzzle; demanding Connor’s perfume as if she’s entitled to it. WTF is wrong with that creature!? I’m curious if she dived into the lake for that perfume, because she’s that hellbent on better hygiene or has sentimental attachment to the birthday gift Connor gave her in Season 2. Glad to see Connor and Alec patching things up and Connor stating what was already known: Riya wasn’t his. Grett killed it in the challenge and elimination today. Bravo! Jake is really starting to grow on me. Loved his convo with Connor and realization that he misjudged Aiden. He also had the funniest quotes in the episode along with Nina. Ally is really getting on my nerves. I’m glad her confidence is growing and she’s being more outspoken, but at this point, she’s practically bullying Jake. Pathetic! Did she already forget what she endured from hurtful online comments. I doubt her popularity will grow, although she’s probably reached a point where she doesn’t GAF. Curious to see her investigating Grett. Connor did a splendid job trusting his instincts by using his idol on Jake. This had to be this season’s best elimination ceremony after Yul’s. I’m a little concerned about what Emily’s plotting and the bizarre amount of stress Kristal’s demonstrating. Is this a foreshadowing of her not returning to host the next season? 😓 9.7/10

Huh it’s weird, when all stars first started I thought I’d be sad about Alec being gone. Now I’m glad he didn’t win, he said in a greeting he planned to use to the money to buy alcohol. Fiore really did carry his character cause he’s been pretty bland this season overall. His only real feat he did was make the villains alliance which is now disbanded & show the world what a terrible father he was. He also had the weird love triangle with Connor & Riya but let’s be honest who really cared about that? His biggest error this season was thinking he would make it to the end as the leader of the villains alliance and not try to make more allies outside of Riya.

Grett played a smart game, as for the others, Connor and Alec were nice to watch, Riya as per usual annoying, Jake was alright this episode, Alec had a somewhat satisfying redemption, Ally is now being worse than Jake because when Jake treated her like shit was because of jealousy, but now she is doing it just for the purpose of being a prick to wards him, a little petty imo. At first while annoyed at her decisions I could at least say they were both even but now she's doing a bit much....in other words, I hate her as a person but love her as a villain.

Ngl I was replaying Grett did before elimination and she had me having a stroke while thinking. She voted Jake to keep Ally as an..... ally. She got rid of the idol and got one of the villains. Alec was definitely the a smart choice. I think Riya and Connor are gonna be in the final 4, Riya gets voted out and they're gonna have a huge scene of them reconciling. Which I REALLY hope doesn't happen. Riya needs to go next but I'm doubting that'll happen.

I had a feeling since the last episode that Grett would warn Connor to use the idol on either him or Jake. Alot of it is to get Jake and Connor to trust her as part of her agreement with giving them the idol in the begin with and she's wants them to trust her comfortably enough until they lower their guards. I think the next episode Grett will finally want Ally's part of the bargain to vote off the person she wants her to vote off next, which could be Riya.

Even though I really didn't like Alec from the start, I'm glad he was able to patch things up with Connor, in the end, they had a touching goodbye😊. Also I was really hoping for Ryia to get eliminated but obviously that didn't happen.

Alright thoughts on the episode: SPOILERS AHEAD! -Ally and Jake fighting was so funny to see, it's kind of resemblance of a brother sister scenario -Riya being a POS as always, just angers me more that she's still here -challenge was nervous, but I was jumping for joy when Grett FINALLY won an immunity challenge after two 2nd/3rd place finishes -Grett gunning for Alec was strategical, though with Ally now suspecting her allegiance, she'll have to be careful when communicating with the hero duo. -Alec leaving, he was one of my predictions to go alongside Riya and Jake, so I wasn't to surprised, still stung to see him leave like this :( -And lastly, Trevor and Kristals descent. Clearly it isn't called Gone Downhill for a reason. The two are clearly under pressure, and now Trevor is slacking on his job, UGH! -Also, Ally has gotten her redemption arc and is placing higher than 6th. With Riya and Jake left to also have one, I do wonder who'll be next? (The answer should be obvious) Final rating: 9/10

This was a genuinely shocking elimination. Alec back to back times he competed got betrayed by his closest ally. Bad times for him. At this rate, I think Connor and Riya are gonna be in the final 4 and then Connor finally gets her out which sucks because she was already a finalist and she's still here. This episode was okay.
