August Vote Results and Final WIPs

Hello!

The Grimdark votes are in! So it looks like Sevatar comfortably took the crown this month. Apparently the community is hungry for some Night Lord shenanigans so I'll make it happen. 😄 Jain Zar also won easily on the Xenos poll so she'll get a slot. And AU Mortarion won by a comfortable margin in the what to finish first poll so he'll also be included in next month's queue.

So what does this mean moving forward? Well, after looking at the distributions from every poll, I think I'll add the Sisters and T'au Manta into the to do list for a future Grimdark month. Both suggestions are always popular but never quite the winner so I'll guarantee them for the future and I might even start the Sisters project next month. Since I made that suggestion very open ended, there are quite a few directions that could go so maybe I'll include one character at least.

While I can't guarantee he'll be finished next month, I do want start on Khârn from the Khârn/Argel Tal BFF's suggestion because I have a decent idea where to take his HH version. Argel Tal/Gal Vorbak is kind of a unique character so I'll have to think about that for a bit.

Okay, onto this month's final WIPs. So earlier this month, I said I wanted to make the Power Armor modular. That way, you can swap out different marks just like in the games. So there will be a specific subfolder with the different armor marks and joints where you can mix and match the combination you prefer. Will come with a Power Armor station as well, sweet! 🤩

Since I made so much hardware this month, I figured someone is going to have to maintain all that. So my original character this month will be the Mechanic. I made a couple of set pieces with the mechanic going through her daily routine, welding power armor parts or fixing weapons. I think you could make some pretty cool day in the life dioramas, right? 😄

And as promised, I've also made Jetpack version of the T60 and Raider Power Armor because jetpack are awesome and I always preferred having one to get around obstacles in Fallout 4.

And finally, this month's bonus reward is the Aloha Oe from the anime Space Dandy.

The Aloha Oe was requested from one my long term (and very helpful) community members. Like the Disturbed Mascot a few months ago, I sometimes take community suggestions and make it a bonus item to show my appreciation for all the help they give me month to month. Thanks buddy, this one's for you! 👍

I'll post the full set of item releases in the September public post. I actually made way more than I planned this month so it's going to be a pretty big release. 😄
