Nuclear Warmachine, Super Jet and Raider Armor!

More Sci Fi goodies have arrived! High resolution turntables here.

First up is Metal Gear REX, one of the behemoth machines from Hideo Kojima's famous series. REX was considered the ultimate Metal Gear because unlike all previous iterations it could deliver a nuclear weapon both to and from any point on the globe, it was undetectable and untraceable.

REX's primary weapon is a railgun capable of launching a nuclear warhead. It also features 30mm gatling guns, anti-tank missiles, and a free-electron laser. Also, it's a giant bipedal walking tank. It can literally just step on an enemy and win.😅

I did sort of play the games at a friend's house but I never really got into the series. But from what I can tell, Metal Gear REX is widely considered a fan favorite and is often cited as the most memorable Metal Gear design. So I tried to stick to the visuals and include a cool camo pattern which I saw in some of the concepts. I'll also have options for the mouth to be open or closed.

Next up is Starscream's Jet form! Historically, he's disguised himself as a F-15 Eagle, a F-22 Raptor or a Cybertronian Jet. I'd say my version is a hybrid of one and three as his G1 form was the F-15. Starscream might be treacherous but he definitely has a really cool looking disguise! 👍

And finally we have Raider Power Armor! The great thing about Raiders is that they really just make the most random and hilarious armor combinations possible. Come to think about it, they're almost like the Orks of the Fallout universe in terms of fashion sense. 😄

So I decided to think like a Raider and imagine what their chem addled minds would bolt onto a discarded Power Armor suit. This is usually patches of armor plating or spikey shards welded haphazardly onto the frame or stuck together with rebar. Sometimes they'll add bone fragments or animal skulls tied together with rope.

Funnily enough, Fallout canonically has miniature chainswords called Rippers. So I definitely think Raiders would try and add a set to their armor and become a walking melee tank. If you ever become the Nuka Cola Raider Boss, I think that would be thematically appropriate. 👍 I also made a few helmet variations as I couldn't decide which skull helmet looked best. 😄
