May Vote Results and Final WIPs

Hello!

The vote results are in! This month the Imperial Knights was the clear winner. There seems to be a huge appetite for these units right now but also a demand for a different style from the traditional ones. So I'll try to create some unique variations while still making them look like Knights. It also looks like Lorgar finally managed to collect a decent number of votes as well. On the Xenos side, Asurmen took the top spot followed closely by the Winged Hive Tyrant.

Okay, so taking into account these results and what's in the to to do list, here's what I'm planning. I will work on Lorgar for the next Grimdark month first as I do want to complete the original set. But I will start doing some updates on Éomer the Lion somewhere on the side so he won't take up another Grimdark month slot moving forward. I will also work on Asurmen and the delayed Warp Spider Exarch while queueing the Hive Tyrant in the to do list.

So onto the final WIPs for this month. For Fallout fans, I have a whole set of goodies. The NCR Ranger gets to brandish and shoot his iconic Ranger Sequoia as shown in his promo art. I did check out the Operation Sunburst fan animation and was very impressed with how an NCR Ranger took out several Brotherhood of Steel Knights in Power Armor. So yeah, I'm giving him an anti-material rifle pose as well. Man, that rifle is sweet! 👍

And finally, for that slice of life diorama, I could think of nothing more appropriate than showing a glimpse into the post apocalyptic life in New Vegas. One of the most iconic posters of New Vegas is the NCR Ranger walking under the "Welcome To New Vegas" sign. And as someone who has tinkered extensively in making settlements in Fallout 4, I decided a merchant should could up a storefront there to cater to travelers looking to try their luck at the casinos. For this scenario, let's say the NCR won the Second Battle for Hoover Dam and now patrol the New Vegas travel lanes. 😄

For Bubblegum Crisis Knight fans, I based the character poses on community suggestions such as Priss frequently punching things, Linna being a dancer and Sylia having swords that pop out of her arms.

And finally the bonus reward item this month will be the Highway Star - a motorcycle Priss rides on in the original series. I looked at a bunch of vehicles/mechs in the Bubblegum anime and this looked the coolest so I went with that. Comes with options for the motorcycle to be separate and helmet/non helmet versions. Bonus reward members, please note next month's item is in Set Three as I've reached an archive limit.

Anyways, that's another Sci Fi month in the bag! Full list of items will be in the public post next month. It's been a great month for Fallout fans (including me) 🤩 and hopefully you enjoyed the rest as well. Now I'm off to prepare for a very interesting Grimdark Month.
