Apparently, He's A Pretty Big Deal

Fantasy Month begins with one of the biggest heavy hitters from the Old World!

Some WIPs for Archaon with another helmet, sword and shield are not on patreon. But community members can still access the latest WIPs as mentioned in previous posts.  Just to be thorough, community members will receive an email with the access information as well.

So as a filthy casual of Warhammer Fantasy, I couldn't tell you anything about Archaon that the wiki doesn't do already and in much more detail. I just know him as Abaddon's Warhammer Fantasy counterpart but actually successful. 😄 I did find it interesting that he used to be a follower of Sigmar though. Funny how the greatest enemies of humanity always come from within.

But I have read enough Chaos stories to know that whenever the Ruinous Powers does a Captain Planet, the results are often erratic or downright laughable. But hey, fire wildly into the air long enough and you'll eventually hit a mark. And in Archaon's case, it appears the Ruinous Powers actually got it right.

And by right I mean in the sense a champion of Chaos Undivided actually achieved a meaningful victory and brought about End Times for Warhammer Fantasy. Which literally destroyed the setting along with the eternal outrage/enmity of the fanbase. And while I can't comment on how well written the End Times is, I will say I've often been told by WF fans (loudly and with very colorful language) that it approaches SpongeBob levels of logic. 😅

Be that as it may, historically Archaon actually completed what he set out to do and from a stats perspective, that makes him infinitely more respectable than that other guy that needs constant retconning, stat padding and pity victories to keep him relevant. And based on Archaon's popularity in the polls I can only assume the WF fanbase doesn't hold the whole 'destroying the setting' against him. 🤷‍♂️

Anyways, for Archaon's visuals I wanted to make it clear he has the dark blessings of the Big Four. All his gear will also be intricately inlaid with trophies and marks of favor. I'm also going to provide some helmet and horn variations. Future updates will also show him mounted on Dorghar, Steed of the Apocalypse.

Next up is Doomguy, returning for his latest outing in the Dark Ages! So I haven't really been following the Doom series in awhile but I did see that awesome trailer where he throws down with a bunch of new weapons. Plus now he gets a badass looking fur pelt. 🔥 Apparently someone on the design team took Captain America's shield and turned it into a chainsaw frisbee which is pretty ingenious.

But I'll be updating my Doomguy proxy with the latest visuals and this time around, he'll also get his famous double barreled shotgun by popular demand. 👍

Next up is Shar and Selune versions of Shadowheart. I have a couple ideas for her costumes but if BG3 fans have any suggestions, I'll consider them. But I am aiming for fashion styles that no other creator has done yet.

I'm also planning on doing a cross promotion with another creator later this month so stay tuned for that!
