December Vote Results and Final WIPs

Fantasy poll results are in! So this month's top community votes went to Takhisis from the Dark Queen of Krynn and Avacyn Angel of Hope Uncorrupted Version. I'm actually surprised Avacyn got so many votes. As many community members know, I already did her mad version. And from what I can tell, they basically look the same save for some superficial cosmetics.

I'll still do a new version since that's what the poll says but I think I'd need some input on what the fans want to me to do differently. Please PM me or comment in the post if you can. Belial did come in pretty close so if Avacyn doesn't take up too much time, I may include that but we'll see.

For the next original piece. I think I'll do a diorama with a tinkering gnome next month since that's something I've never done before. I know some...interesting gnomes. 😉

Over on the who would you cast poll, it looks like Karl Urban took the top spot! Many community members might know him from the Boys but he was actually Éomer in the original LOTR trilogy. Wow, looking at him then, it's almost as if he's already playing the Lion. 😲 Great community choice! 👍 So I'll work on making him the 1st Legion Primarch on the side. In the meantime, if there's any cool Calabinite Lion art, please let me know, thanks!

Got the final poses for the Noisy characters next month. Noisy Sister gets a sword and whip pose. For the Noise Marine and Noisy Sister, they'll also get a unique sonic blast effect.

So for this month's bonus reward, I thought it'd be neat to include a unique unit of the Dark Angels - the Interrogator Chaplain (not all head options shown on patreon). I touched on this before but Interrogator Chaplains are a unique rank among the Unforgiven Chapters, tasked with capturing Fallen and making them repent.

For every Fallen an Interrogator Chaplain gets to confess, they receive a black pearl. Ironically, the most famous Interrogator Chaplain is very bad at this part of the job (he's killed way more under interrogation than the average and only has two pearls). Furthermore, he's quite the PR nightmare for the Dark Angels as his...indiscretions has actually forced Chapter Master Azrael to travel to another Chapter's Fortress Monastery to personally apologize. Let that sink in for a moment.

But whatever fans think of Asmodai's skills as an Interrogator Chaplain (or lack thereof), he has one saving grace. If there's Fallen around, Asmodai will find them. Oh and I vaguely remember him taking out a Great Unclean One with sheer rage so uh...he has that going for him. 😅 Okay, that was kind of a tangent. Anyways, this month's bonus reward is a proxy for an Interrogator Chaplain in Terminator Armor. That's scary on so many levels. 😱 You can pretend Asmodai is actually good at his job while flexing those black pearls or field him as Molochia who is canonically the best Interrogator Chaplain with ten.

I don't want to make this post too long so I'll just say that the Grimdark release will be on schedule with all the characters I posted about this month with the usual single and parts options. The Fuegan proxy will also get a longer spear like version of the Fire Pike. Full list will be in the monthly public post.

Just a friendly reminder, I'll be out of town from the 2nd-4th of January 2025 to visit a sick family member. I'll try my best to reply to messages but response times will be slower. If community members PM me with a question, I'll try to reply back on the 5th or 6th at the latest.
