Now You See It. Now You Don't (Grimdark WIP)

Time for a fiery grimdark update!

As usual, the majority of the Grimdark WIPs are not on Patreon anymore.  But community members can still access the latest WIPs as mentioned in previous posts.  Just to be thorough, community members will receive an email with the access information as well. So Fuegan is the Phoenix Lord of the Fire Dragon Aspect. Like all Phoenix Lords, Fuegan was tutored by Asurmen, who invented the concept of Warrior Aspects after the Fall so the Eldar could continue to resist Slaanesh.

He went on to create the Fire Dragon aspect on the craftworlds, which basically means the utter annihilation of the enemy. Although I should clarify this was selective destruction, and not just setting everything on fire.

Fuegan's personal weapon is called Searsong. It's an elongated fusion-based thermal weapon causes the molecules of the target to hyper-vibrate, generating so much heat that their targets burst into flames before suddenly liquefying and then evaporating into nothingness.

So yeah, Fire Dragons are the 'anti armor' aspect warriors of the Eldar. They sort of act like a group of Space Marines shooting melta guns but their weapons are called Firepikes and far more advanced. And since Phoenix Lords are basically the Eldar's version of hey, we have Primarch level characters. Eldar are cool too. Please stop paying attention to Space Marines for one second!, their stats are buffed to insane levels. I've included a neat little example to demonstrate how overpowered they (in theory) should be.

Now back to the Dark Angels side of things. I think I've mentioned this before but some characters are so cool in concept they basically pose themselves. The Company Champion/Bulwark is definitely one of those characters. I had so many ideas for sword and shield poses, I went a little overboard. 😅 So this badass will chop, thrust, swing, shoot and leap from on high to deal death from above! Oh yeah, Dark Angels fans will be feasting next month. 😋

For the Terminator, he'll be swinging his mace/sword to bonk traitors on the head. There was a community request to give the Terminator proxy a ranged weapon so I went ahead and did that. Now it's all the Deathwing. 😱 Don't bother praying to the Dark Gods, traitor. They've already run for the hills.

So I want to give the community an early heads up. In January 2025, I'll be out of town from the 2nd to 4th to visit a sick family member. The monthly release will still be on schedule but I may not respond to messages as frequently as usual. Apologies, but this is one of those situations that just sort of came up.

Fantasy casting and Fantasy voting polls are ongoing! Noisy character poses and bonus character reveal to be shown after final results are in.
