Fire and Blood. (Fantasy WIP)

The first Fantasy WIP is here! First up is Alucard the half vampire and the complete opposite of Dracula. His wiki even says he reversed his name specifically to represent the fact he stands for the opposite ideals of his evil dad. While I never played the Castlevania games, I am a fan of the art style. During my research, I noticed that this version of Alucard has a huge scar on his chest. Apparently Dracula curb stomped his son and gave him the scar because he had the audacity to tell Dracula not to be a dick. Looks badass though so it should appeal to all the Team Edward fans. BTW, I've never met anyone who will admit they like Twilight but they must exist because have you seen the box office numbers? ๐
Next up is Firelord Azula who is a princess of the Fire Nation, daughter of Fire Lord Ozai and Ursa, younger sister of Zuko, and older half-sister of Kiyi. Azula's wiki says she is a firebending prodigy but manipulative and obsessed with power. She is skilled strategist who orchestrated the coup of the Earth Kingdom capital, Ba Sing Se, and halted the invasion on the Day of Black Sun. Yeah I can't say much about her or the Avatar series beyond that. The only thing I know about Avatar is M. Night Shyamalan made a movie that all the fans disowned. Based on her wiki, it does seem like she's one of the more villainous characters on the series, or at least a major thorn in the side of Aang and company.
I was also a bit surprised that the concept art I was given was so different from her cartoon version. No wait, what I meant to say is I am completely unsurprised. The point is I just followed the suggestion style not the cartoon. Big fan of that dragon throne though, definitely including that. ๐
Next up is the Bloodborne Hunter and my personal pick Raistlin Majere. Stay tuned!

That said. No, wait, also: "A pose to assert dominance" โข That said (again) thanks for the art, very much appreciated. single question, out of curiosity, i see you do not shy making very thin decors (like the hair pin with the "dangly bit") but your swords still range into the "blunt trauma objects", so: is it because of your past as a game asset maker and now you're just used to do that, artistic choice, or...?

2022-07-08 04:34:35 +0000 UTCHighly recommend watching the TV show, it's very good for a kids animation. Azula is a great Villan and goes a bit crazy near the end and would have been a great dystopian villan ruler.

2022-07-07 17:51:53 +0000 UTCI like Twilight, think it was a fun watch if you don't take it to seriously. I said it, its out in the open. I think its one of the few movies out there actually better than the books ๐ but I prefer the vampires like in Anne Rices stories more.
