This Is Why You Don't Adventure In The Underdark (Final Heroes WIP and Vote Results)

At long last, this month's secret character is ready to debut!
So I used to read a lot of Forgotten Realms novels and one of the scariest places in that setting was the Underdark. Between the Drow, Mind Flayers and Beholders, there was no shortage of gruesome ways adventurers could meet a grizzly fate. And for drow, one of the worst punishments that could befall them is being turned into a drider. These are part elf, part spider monstrosities whose very existence is constant agony. This usually happens when said drow fails spectacularly (like a Matron Mother losing a house war she started) and earns the ire of Lolth, the primary goddess of the drow. Ironically, Lolth is often portrayed as a drider so take that as you will.
Driders are usually used as shock troops or gladiators and their sheer repulsiveness can cause the most hardened warrior to flee in terror (like Conan and company 😄). Regardless, driders are one of the freakiest monsters in D&D and I thought it'd be cool to make my own version. She might even make a good avatar of Lolth if DMs run some sort of epic level campaign.
Most of the Ulrika and the baribarian assets are in the May2020_Heroes folder. May need to patch some of the designs still. Most of the drider assets should be there before the end of the month. I'll make a public post of this month's assets at the beginning of May. I'm also thinking of doing more public preview posts from now on to shake things up from time to time.
In other news, the vote results are in and the clear winners are Vampire Hunter D and Darth Revan. I don't know that much about Vampire Hunter D but KOTOR is one of my favourite games so I'm really excited about that. Thanks to everyone who voted and congratulations if your choice got picked!
