Point Me At the Heresy! (Living Saint WIP)

Here is my first pass for the Living Saint. In 40K Lore, Sisters of Battle are the militant arm of the Ecclesiarchy (Imperium's official religious institution). They are fanatically devoted to the Imperial Cult, the belief that the Emperor is Humanity's one and only true God. Anything they consider heresy has a tendency to become ash.
In very rare cases, a Sister of Battle may be imbued with a portion of the Emperor's might. This occurs if the Sister of Battle has uncommon devotion and if the situation is bad enough to warrant divine intervention. Like the Astronomican and the Legion of the Damned, the Living Saint is greatest proof that the Emperor still guides humanity during the Imperium's direst times.
I've researched a lot of the Living Saint concepts, and decided to stick closest to her original depiction (Angel Wings are cool). I still want to improve her armour design and probably change the Iron Halo completely. I'll also begin working on giving her a cool pose (she won't just be flying around).

2020-05-09 14:46:14 +0000 UTCI was wondering of an other kind of pose. The double handed sword in a close landing fashion isn't bad, but I find it maybe too classic. How about having her doing an upward slash (not sure about the words here) with her sword and using the blood of the enemy she cut in half as a support. I have absolutly no idea on the difficulty. =P An other Idea I had, was for her to have a shield she's throwing and linked to her with chains. Love your work <3

2020-05-08 14:06:57 +0000 UTCYyyeah by the lore Celestine is just your average lady that looks good in armour (looooots of pages about that armour), inspires people by looking good and being righteous... ...and dies just about the first time she goes into a fight... then she is reborn... ...nobody knows she is reborn... goes into a fight, they find out she has visions of her past and her wounds heal quicker, even very lethal ones... ...re-finds her armour and looks good again, etc. etc. etc. It's all a cycle of "Looks really good, #DatArmour is found again, adds stuff to her oaths, inspires people, goes to fight and dies" over and over again. uhm... yyyyyyeah. WH40K is still all about manly men doing manly things, if men are expected to survive while losing friends... the moment they put a woman in there they don't know what else to do but let her die. π€¦ββοΈ

Having her look epic is totally your right, but if you can have her look epic while suspended over a flaming battlefield via various tricks using flames, chains, oaths and whatever... that would be really nice. <img src="https://www.frontlinegaming.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/sanguinor.jpg" width="350">

2020-05-07 08:11:32 +0000 UTCwhat i suggest is <u>not</u> to go the usual route of using her vows to have her "fly" <img src="https://i.pinimg.com/564x/0b/d7/3e/0bd73e2ccb502a7dd23dee9f05bdbf2a.jpg" width="350"> but rather do something similar to the above aspect of sea eidolon and use flames coming from below... <u><b>reinforced</b></u> by her vows (on fire) and one or more chains.
