Marilith WIP

Here comes the first WIP for the Marilith. According to the lore, Mariliths are highly intelligent beings with a good sense for tactics, a domineering and wicked personality, and the rare ability to unite and coordinate the actions of demons. They also have a lot of martial pride and with SIX arms, you better believe they can overwhelm their opponents.
For this monster, I wanted to capture her reptilian features such as her snake eyes, forked tongue and scaled tail. My next step is to make weapons and a suitably badass pose.

2020-04-10 17:07:11 +0000 UTCGreat suggestions! What I think I'll do is give everyone the option to mix and match like the Death Knight. So each hand can fit a weapon or have a palm. I'm planning on giving a variety of weapons with unique visuals. .

2020-04-05 23:29:18 +0000 UTCThanks, glad you like the design! For the pose, I want the arms to look as natural as possible, like she's in an en garde kind of stance but also kind of taunting. If I have enough time, I might try a very aggressive pose as well.

2020-04-05 23:06:39 +0000 UTCT-Pose to assert dominance? 😂👍💖 Jokes aside: love the scales (even in this WIP state, but yes, they are a pain 😂) and the jewelry is magnificient. I wonder if for the fighting stance you'r going to go with the "wings of pain" (basically all arms parallel as if forming a pair of wings in a "W shape" with 6 blades in a "come here" kind of taunting way) or a the whirlwind of pain, (basically all arms and blades in a spiral that looks as painful as a blender), though i've seen people go with a "1 woman testudo" idea giving her basically 2 very big rectangular shields and 2 to 4 spears. Well... whatever you decide... is up to you, this already looks very good.
