Idk if blind wave at this point would like season 4 of young justice since they weren't crazy about the third season (for completely understandable reasons) and it's been a while so they may have forgotten a lot of stuff 🤔.

2025-09-16 07:47:37 +0000 UTCI got introduced to the Legion through the animated series, and I always knew there was something between Duo Damsel and Bouncing Boy and Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl 🤣. It was one of those shows that got canceled way to early and if we had more seasons we would have saw more of those relationships 😎.

The long pauses are definitely more noticeable here than in some of the other films, and I knew they were gonna make Arm Fall off boy do some cool stuff. I feel like a character that conceptionally lame either is gonna be the butt of jokes or they have to find a way to make him cool 😂 😂.

2025-09-16 07:38:50 +0000 UTCSuraj: "You're the Dean Cain Superman!" That's awesome! That's such a good insult, and so appropriate for what Mon-El did. In most of the comics Mon-El is a good guy. But it's funny we all saw that villain twist coming in this movie. Also I think Timberwolf survived because we see him in a holding cell with the other Legion members for a split second. So I don't think the dark circle actually killed any of the legion of heroes.

He's a Daxamite (off-shoot of Kryptonians) and came to Earth in the 20th/21st century with a case of amnesia. Because of the amnesia, the Kryptonian powers, and his landing on a Monday, he was named Mon-el by Superman. He was poisoned by lead and was placed in the Phantom Zone to prevent the poison from spreading, and he stayed there until the 31st century.

2025-09-12 01:28:34 +0000 UTCI liked this one- they found a believable way to introduce Supergirl and to get her among her peers. It had to suck to find her baby cousin as an adult and mean-ass Batman criticizing her instead of helping Superman train her. I liked this iteration of the Legion, particularly Duplicate Girl. She lost a copy of herself in the comics too before they decided to give her unlimited duplicates. Fun fact: in the comics, Bouncing Boy and Duo Damsel (yes she took that horrible name there) got married. There were lots of team couples, but those two and Lightning Lad/Saturn Girl were the only married Legionnaires for a long time.

Remember Flash was helping Superman fight him before accidentally travelling to Earth 2? Then he came back, caught and threw back a kryptonite bullet in his head Rana don’t look at this one if you haven’t finished Young Justice / / / / Brainy (5) had a cameo at the end of Young Justice, he showed up to bring the Legion trio back to the future…Marty!

It’s not a bad movie by any means, but I love the Legion of Super-Heroes so much (I prefer them over the Teen Titans!!!). To me, this felt more like a Supergirl movie with the Legion playing second fiddle. Don’t get me wrong, I love Kara, but for a movie titled “Legion of Super-Heroes”, they should be the title characters. You could still have Kara in the movie and balance it with the other Legionnaires getting just as much characterization outside of Brainiac 5 and Mon-El. The Legion of Super-Heroes animated series I think did a better job at that with Clark as Superboy learning about his heritage and powers alongside the Legion, while also fleshing out specific Legionnaires. Yes, Clark Kent was the original Superboy. He went by Superboy when he began as a superhero in Smallville before he came to Metropolis. Unfortunately for me, I don’t think Josie Campbell’s script does that. Which is a shame, because I love Josie Campbell’s work on My Adventures With Superman. LONG LIVE THE LEGION!!!!!!
