2025-10-26 19:29:47 +0000 UTCHere's a rule to live by: NEVER BELIEVE ANYONE ON THE INTERNET WHEN IT COMES TO ANIME DUBS. Unless they're an official reviewer; and sometimes not even then. There's so much bandwagoning for anti-dub bias that you will rarely get an honest assessment. This doesn't mean ignore everyone's opinion of course. Just that you shouldn't take anyone's word as gospel. Always watch/listen for yourself to see if you'll like it. I say this because y'all clearly enjoyed the "BLEACH" and "Naruto" dubs a lot; despite the fact that lots of online anime-watchers think those dubs are the worst things to ever exist. Nevertheless, "Naruto" was HELLA' popular on this channel, and "BLEACH", I mean come on now. It's the same for "One Piece" no matter which audio track you use. And just like with the other dubs you're watching, you'd have fun recognizing all the VOs in "One Piece". Honestly, that's one of the most fun things for me watching you react to dubs. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I prefer each of The Big 3 in sub - which is why I have no complaints about reacting to the sub - but each of their modern dubs are great. I say "modern" because "One Piece" had that god-awful 4Kids dub that didn't even try. (Despite that admittedly banger OP.) Viz Media did a great job with "BLEACH" and "Naruto", and Funimation did a phenomenal job with "One Piece"; especially compared to the 4Kids trash. Again though, don't take my word for it, and CERTAINLY don't take the word of anyone who says watching the dub will "ruin your experience". Whether its in a reaction or on your own time, watch/listen for yourself.

2025-10-26 16:52:57 +0000 UTC#SundayRundown #Question Watched the Chainsaw Man movie and it was phenomenal imo it is on same level of animation as Demon Slayer Infinity Castle, can't wait for you guys to see it, on a related note I know anthologies are not your guys thing, however I really think you should give "Tatsuki Fujimoto 17 - 26" a try. It is eight short films made by six animation studios releasing November 7 on Amazon Prime. They are ones shots made by Fujimoto during his early years before his more popular works Chainsaw Man, Fire Punch, and Look Back, hence 17 - 26. I know Fujimoto is a weird guy but his talent for writing very human and heartfelt moments is always impressive despite the absurdity of his stories, one in particular I'm super excited to see animated, on top of that you can see the evolution of his style and how some early ideas made its way into his current work. Since you guys like Chainsaw Man and Look Back I hope you put it on your radar and check it out when you guys have the chance.
