I really enjoyed drawing this one, a friend had long ago gifted me Hollow Knight but I never found the time to play it, and after this commission was ordered, the reference material was BEAUTIFUL.
After doing the sketch, I felt I wasn't doing it justice, and couldn't bring myself to touch it for a while, it felt like since the sketch was so far away from a decent looking thing the task of bringing it to a good looking thing was going to be too difficult, or even impossible, I had to bring myself to meditate the ugly thougths out, and after bringing some confidence up and saying "it's only the sketch, it'll get a lot better" I found I was able to work, and after some hours it ended on a piece that I can say I'm proud of. <3
Also, blogging my thoughts during the piece on the Patreon post seems enjoyable, if someone actually got this far, please comment something so I know it's interesting (and continue uwu) <3
