Added 2025-10-06 00:06:29 +0000 UTCUpdate: I had a pretty bad week with some personal stuff happening over the weekend. Looking at the clock, I am not gonna be able to finish a decent chapter today, and doing any good writing through the week is rough with Uni exhaustion. Doesn't help that this chapter needs a lot of fact checking and foresight to not dig any plot holes.
So, no chapter today. I will aim for a double chapter next weekend to make up for it. If that doesn't land, this will have become an unintentional after volume break, ig. As a silver lining, the cliff was only getting resolved next week anyhow.
Really sorry about the delays. As some people who have been around for a while may remember, I am physically incapable of keeping a backlog, so hopefully it doesn't happen again.

Might as well release next week as a single slightly longer prologue for the next arc. I'd rather skip a chapter than having many bad ones.
