Not saying I disagree with what Sally did, but she hit that man with a baseball bat 30+ times after she already stabbed him in the eye. His brains were most likely splattered all over that soundroom floor. In the eyes of the law that is not self defense anymore.

Barry had no idea Albert was in LA, and even the shot doesn't show Albert's arrival, its like he just appeared and started screaming everything Barry has been telling to himself. Given how it was midday, and when Barry calls Sally in the car at night, I legit believe Barry sat in that field for hours, thinking everything over and getting ready to leave LA with Sally.

Barry’s dream is essentially a vision of hell: all the people there, even though Barry killed them, are present because they’ve killed others. So, Barry seeing Sally and Gene in his dream means they’ll be in hell with him.
