2025-10-07 23:13:20 +0000 UTCYou are absolutely correct that the scene with Sally approaching the darkness is supposed to mirror Barry going into the darkness at the end of S2. However, one thing you got slightly off is that Sally does not fully go into the darkness the same way Barry does. She is teetering on the edge of darkness but did not fully go in yet. Showing that she still does have some good in her unlike Barry.

2025-10-07 23:10:28 +0000 UTCIt's really a sad episode but Ryan's dad is the saddest as Barry didn't kill his son, it was chechins. In fact Barry killed Ryan's actual killers except for noho hank who was also in the car. The next ep is a heartbreaker but a great season ender. Sally's downfall mirrors Barry's in the season 2 ender as he went into the dark and in Sally's last scene she also went into the dark. Fuches really went dark as he screwed Barry over and over again, but he still sees himself as the victim. He is now the master manipulator he wishes he was in season 1.
