Maybe he did not know how to handle that situation and simply wanted help from his Mom because his friend was crying. I can totally buy that scenario. The mom is the one who escalated to calling Clark's parents after having a conversation with him.

And I think that thing with Rudy was supposed to be a self sacrifice thing. It came off that way, you guys were a bit too pessimistic. This is Superman, he's about hope and being a better person.

2025-08-08 04:21:14 +0000 UTCSurprised nobody recognized the parasite though I'll admit he's had several different looks but still the whole absorbing energy gives him away but then again that's on them for dropping BTAS series maybe we would've gotten Superman TAS after that which happens to be my favorite version of the character and since well probably never get that stuff I wonder if they'd watch the DCAU Batman movies because those are all pretty good but I didn't see any of them after the Batman Beyond movie so I don't know about the other movies after that

It’s not giving you the same child while story but it’s showing you the infancy of his time as Superman becoming a hero Lobo was hilarious. Can’t wait to see Jason Mamoa portray him in the Supergirl movie next year.

He kept getting Kryptonian power from Superboy who was using power patches from Lex Lobo first appeared in 1983, but he definitely feels 90s. A reminder of how broken his healing factor is: He can regenerate *from blood*, individual pieces can grow into separate Lobos, and his species can only be killed by each other (can’t find an explanation for how that works). And like he said, he killed his whole species, so 🤷♂️ •His Death Battle with Ghost Rider is a fun watch
