August small update/announcement

So, for anyone who might have missed it, I wrote at the end of the last chapter that I would take a break for 1-2 uploads as it was the end of volume 2 and start doing 1 monthly break to reach a better spot with burnout. Well, I decided to do one now and anticipate to take one more on the 19th as something in-between the monthly break and the second half of the volume end. The reason for this is one you may have heard before: A new Path of exile league is coming out on the 18th and I will be no lifing for the first weekend as always.
I also mentioned that I wanted to do some editing... which honestly didn't really work out. I am hoping I can actually get around to it still this week though. I set a RR ad to run from Sunday so I am forced by a deadline to actually move my ass since nothing else seems to work with me. Anyway, volume one is not more than 20 chapters even with prologue and interlude so once I get going I should be able to get through at least the start of it quickly. For the most part I intend to edit some details that I either think could be written better or align with the more complete vision for the story I have now. I have had much of the story figured out for a while but there are definitely some things I discovered fit really well not long before you, the readers did, so I will need to hunt for small plot holes and the occasional forgotten Chekhov's gun. If I find something major that needs changing I will update you in an AN here, though I don't expect to.
In other news, Baldur's gate 3 is an absolute banger. I struggled to get into it right after launch but eventually it clicked for me and I am having a great time with the game. A man's gotta appreciate using enemies as improvised weapons.
