I think Kelly probably wins the trophy for the least remembered character among the group of BSG side players that only pop up 2 or 3 times a season. They usually look a little different from their previous appearance, or show up in different contexts, and his changes are just subtle enough to make him fade into the background. I like him though. There's something about his performance that always catches my eye.

I'm sharing it because all of it has already been established in the show: "Humanoid Cylons share a collective knowledge base of data from other Humanoid Cylons of the same model, but within their model only." That's why Helo's wife had memories of Boomer on Galactica. "They are not a collective consciousness hive-mind." Otherwise, there wouldn't be individuals like Boomer or Caprica Six and as you guys pointed out all the 3's would have known at the same time that D'Anna had been shot. "Sharing data is not automatic; they can choose to upload or download information." Otherwise, the mission on New Caprica is f*cked 🤣 "When they share information, they remember it very much like it was their own". This has also been explained by the second Sharon. It also kinda explains his relationship with the chief. She remembers loving him and she has the memories that Boomer uploaded to the data base so she's fond of him. But she's not in love with him like Boomer was because she's a different person.

Leading the Cylon occupation of New Caprica. SHARON AGATHON: Is working with the humans. Met Helo on Caprica after the nuclear attack. Fell in love with (and has subsequently married) Helo. Came to the Galactica when rescued by Starbuck, and gave birth to Hera. Sworn in to the Colonial military. Preparing to evacuate the humans and got the launch keys.

2025-07-26 16:22:40 +0000 UTCRana's theory about a Higher Power influencing what happens made me wonder: What if there is really a Higher Power but it has decided that the time of humanity is over...? Kinda like Noah's ark in the Bible? If you think about it, the humans in BSG are polytheistic and the Cylons are monotheistic. So if God does exist why would he favor humanity over the Cylons? In any case, I like the religious aspect of the show because even in 2025 billions of people make decisions every day based on their personal beliefs. Even when voting for a president. 🤔 Well, at least in the U.S. because here in Spain nobody really cares about that 😅😅

Maybe after you finish the series, since I can't remember if it has spoilers. It's a really fun game, filled with politicking and betrayal and could be pretty entertaining!

It is a little hard to keep track. Boomer was the Sharon/8 who was with Tyrol, shot Adama and died, teamed up with 6 on Caprica in the ep Downloaded, and is leading the occupation with the Cylons. Athena is the Sharon/8 who is with Helo, went to Galactica with him, had the baby with him, gained Adamas trust, and just got the launch keys. Boomer is on the Cylon side and shot Adama. Athena is on the human side, and had the baby.

2025-07-25 13:40:39 +0000 UTCAs far as whos in charge of any particular line it does seem they vote for a spokesperson for their own line, but their is disagreements even within one model line, for instance last episode caprica 6 says they have consensus and some other 6 interjects with "most of us do" so the sixs are disagreeing with each other same scene when they are threatening baltar and they shoot caprica 6

Also, I think I first saw Amanda Plummer in 91's The Fisher King featuring Jeff Bridges, Robin Williams, & Mercedes Ruehl. Mercedes won an Oscar for best supporting actress. Jeff, Robin and Mercedes all won Golden Globes for their roles in the movie.

It took the marines until season 3 to break out the heavy weapons? Not when Galactica was invaded in season 1? I'm nitpicking because the show is so well written. This little detail is annoying to me. Oh hey look it's Captain Kelly, they only bring that actor out every 20 episodes or so. You guys might not remember him because he was in the miniseries as fat Kelly, then he didn't appear until the season 2 premiere as thinner Kelly, and now he's lost so much weight he's just regular captain Kelly.

Boomer was the sleeper agent who shot Adama and then formed the alliance with Caprica Six to encourage peace with humans. Helo's partner Sharon is the one who is now a Colonial Officer helping with the evacuation.

2025-07-24 17:36:30 +0000 UTCOne clarification for something that has persisted throughout the seasons (mostly by Mickey, which is weird): Cylons do not have super strength. They are physically indistinguishable from humans (which is why it is so hard to spot a cylon). Other than a tiny, tiny, tiny dna difference (which is what gave baby Hera the ability to cure Roslins cancer) they are flesh and bone just like us. Also, the Sharon that gave birth to Hera is not Boomer. There is only one Boomer, who is currently working with the cylons.
