Having never read the Hush storyline in comics, I enjoyed the Riddler twist. I also ship Bat and Cat over him with anyone else. It was good seeing Batman happy and willing to trust Selena with his secret. Frankly I agree with her about saving Riddler/Hush. He tried, but there was no more time. He would have died if she didn't cut the rope and make him leave. One of my favorite movies in this timeline

He even opened and runs free medical clinics all over the city. the city is literally cursed to be the way it is. Not to mention money doesn't solve everything if the system is corrupt from the ground up like Gotham

He’s supposed to be like a reflection of Bruce in the sense that he also grew up filthy rich but instead he tried to kill his parents in a car accident so he could get his inheritance. However, Thomas’s Wayne saved his mother, so Elliot grew up hating the Waynes. He really hated Bruce after his parents died because he saw it as Bruce was living the life he wanted. In the comics , Riddler only helped Hush but I’m guessing they simplified it in the movie to fit the runtime. Hush is actually a mini villain in the Arkham games and he’s kind of hinted at in The Batman.

Seeing a good Batman romance and more of the Batfamily plus the mystery aspect around it all with Hush/Riddler 👌🏾 I also had a chance to see Superman this week at an early screening. I absolutely loved it. David Corenswet IS Superman. I can’t wait for you guys to watch it either it theatres or when it comes out on VOD/streaming

Why are we talking rivers? Thomas Elliot typically is Hush. I believe most who read the comic don’t like the Riddler twist

2025-07-10 14:33:44 +0000 UTCTo complain about adaptation is becoming a moot point. Manga to anime, comic to tv/movies, DnD to tv, and so on, the list goes on. It was still an enjoyable movie that made me want to read the source material and that’s all a show/movie really needs to do. Get you invested enough to go spend Money or watch the source material, in my opinion.
