Bruh not the twins dad being a total putz, no wonder they have so many daddy issues. Still was a super sweet moment of Percy trying to stand up for vex, giving her the big ups she deserved. Even if syldor had to be a total dick about it. Makes sense vex had to deal with fey dude with attachment issues just the perfect opponent for the brother lover with daddy issues in love with the most traumatized sad boy ever.

Comparing other incel trees to Saundor is insulting the other incel trees. I prefer “king of the pick me tool bags.”

#sundayrundown I still remember u guys received a lot of gifts the other day for Vox Machina. That video was fun. Saundor is just a Fey incel.Wow. I didn't realise I could hate Syldor as much as I do.
Troy Baker did an outstanding job.
It's funny how Vax and Vex's step mother feels more like family than their actual father.I'm torn on the change to Vex's title announcement. On one hand, it does mean they didn't get that intimate scene where Vex confessed her fears to Percy.
On the other hand, there's plenty of time for them to have one-on-one scenes, and this way was just stone badass. It was the diplomatic, aristocratic equivalent of "audibly sliding your chair back". Both carry an unmistakable "you've got about three seconds to check your goddamn tone toward the woman you're speaking to." Macho bullshit and dick measuring? Yeah, probably, but at least it's being put toward a good cause.
Saundor was excellent. I was curious about how they would develop the creepy context in just a couple of minutes, but damn, they made this guy taunting Vex with her daddy issues way creepier than in the campaign.
The action economy on this show is stellar. In the same fight we got to see Vex pain, how powerful Fenthras is and Kiki use her newly discovered fire powers (I'm SO happy they keep the tree stride/fire elemental combo).
I love seeing how Vex and Percy's relationship was beginning to grow from this event. We had plenty of hints in season 1 and not this is leading me to yell "Kiss each other already!" at the screen.
I also loved seeing Velora, she was so cute and innocent. Simply pure and adorable.
I also loved the dicthomy between Whiland and Syldor. Whilhand was kind and sweet, a great father figure who showed how much he loved his grandchilldren (Yes, I am including Grog in that number) while Syldor was an ass.
An incredibly solid episode both on character building and action fronts.
I swear they somehow managed to make Saundor even creepier which is impressive.
I'm so glad they let Vex get the killing blow in this version and that they also worked in the Tree Stride/Fire Elemental combo.
And now we head towards the Westruun and Kevdak - which is a very solid way to wrap this 'arc' of episodes.

Percy got Vex a custom arrowhead AND bestowed a noble title on her. Find you a partner that can do both!
Fun BTS: The animators said they designed a more vertical, cylinder shaped environment for the Vex-Syldor fighter, to highlight her agility.
Also, the Fenthras bow doesnt have string; rather, a string matching the type of arrow (a fiery string for fire arrow, lightning string for lightning arrow, etc)

It's not a spoiler -- it was mentioned in episode 1 -- but Vex and Vax's mom was killed by a dragon. This was way back when they were fighting Brimscythe the blue dragon.

#SundayRundown In the campaign, there was a genuine chance Vex took up Saundor on his offer, and she would have multiclassed as a Fey Warlock possibly.

Okay so vax, vex and keylith are half elves, grog is a half giant like the ones seen in season two, then you got the two little gnomes and a human lol

Episode 9-10 so good should be double drops

Their father is a very high ranking noble, so for him to have half human kids is a very bad look. Especially before having true born heirs. It's not an excuse obviously, but part of the reason he doesn't like his kids.
The end character with blazing green eyes, and red hair is a nod to a character who will be very important in the next series "The Mighty Nien" hopefully coming out late this year.

Ah yes, the fight against Saundor. Or in the Critter community, we just call it "The Battle With The Incel Tree".

Great episode, and the ending with the red head guy you all were confused about is technically a spoiler Easter egg for non stream watchers. But you all might meet him later in the series or the next upcoming show
