By no means am I a supporter of what the US did long term in Afghanistan but your recollection of events is a bit hazy. At the time the US invaded Afghanistan, not only was it justified to do so but almost the entire world backed the United States military action. Though US led, the Afghanistan conflict was a multi-national effort consisting of over forty nations. The resolutions passed within the UN security council supporting the United States were unanimous decisions. Why that's an important point in this debate is because both China and Russia voted in favor of US military action; two nations traditionally opposed to US military intervention. It's fair to criticize United States actions within the conflict but the justification for invading Afghanistan did not violate international law. The international community at the time agreed the Taliban and al-Qaeda should be taken out. Your analysis also oversimplifies the PTSD soldiers experience in warzones.

It was a military operation that the president justify under the guise of fighting terrorism and a violation of international law. Barry was committing state sanction murder, which is why it was easy for him to transition to being a hitman once he left the marines.

Once again in a very small scene NoHo Hank shows why he's awesome, "Im a gearhead". Taylor being a psycho really showed how awesome of a soldier he is. I also love how the acting group begins to revolt against Sally but i still like her overall as she is also going through some things cause of her awful agent. Lots of shades of grey from all the characters, no one is just good or bad which i love.
