I’m watching this series for the first time along with you guys, and even though last season was bumpy plot-wise here and there, this premiere’s strained, broader wackiness in a lot of characters really reminds me of Community Season 4. It somehow feels like there’s a new showrunner trying to imitate and double down on the series’ story and humor like that Community season, even if here showrunner stays the same.

2025-04-22 16:56:58 +0000 UTCGood point about Jim. He definitely needs to leave Dunder Mifflin, but he also has two kids in daycare and a wife and a house. Not sure if his friend is going to give him a salary if he leaves for the startup, but Pam’s salary isn’t even close to enough.
