Granny while attacking people was constantly comforting the souls of young women who were killed after horrible things (likely SA) were done to them. She tried to help them pass on. So despite not being a morally good character granny has some form of code when it comes to young women (even those who go against her like Momo). So even though she chalks all the good luck helping save Momo in the hot springs scene to just her body she is in currently she obviously went there to keep Momo safe incase at the hot spring. We even see during the fight when Momo gets grabbed she jumps out of hiding to confront the attacker (and her good luck triggers for Momo knocking out the attacker).
