He originally played the live action version in the Arrowverse, and was so good at it that since then any time they need Constantine they call him up. Regardless of it being a big show, a small web series, or a random cartoon appearance (like in Harley Quinn), he's THE guy.

Having Constantine mispronounce his own name helps protect him from having magic cast on him. He even gets scared when Lucifer uses the real pronunciation and tells him to use teen instead

In any case John is more of an anti-hero rather then a hero even a 'dark' hero like say Batman. Constantine in his own series and of course his debut in Swamp Thing, does not like to use magic, he avoids it as much as possible magic has consequences and its a much better idea to manipulate others into doing magic for him. Which is exactly what he does in this story, and many others. John is a manipulative piece of shit but he always beats the really really bad guys, however the end result is usually horrific for his friends who he manipulates into taking the consequences of his actions onto themselves. Because John Constantine is a manipulative POS.

Every time dc dips into the magical side its always so cool, really wish we got to see it more often. I was hoping this version of superman would grow on me but man every movie I just dislike his design a bit more, this wasn't it and I can't wait till we get a more classic superman from Gunn.

They cancelled it because it was too expensive to keep the set alive during non-filming season, which was made with real plants and needed constant care to maintain. I understand your guys confusion, but Swamp Thing’s not dead, he just retreated back into the Earth because Destiny made him realize he could never be human again and that loss of hope just made him quit the fight

Zatanna & Constantine are awesome love the darker side of magic in DC mainly Constantine’s side, his show and Swamp Thing show are both fire I'd love to see ya'll watch both and Matt Ryan as Constantine is perfect I love Keanu but he ain't Constantine to me. Matt Ryan is Constantine like how Kevin Conroy is everyone’s Batman he’s the guy you think of when Constantine is said & he’s played him in multiple things including his own show, the Arrowverse shows for years & then in these animated ones would love to see you guys watch his show & SmallVille

Constantine is the very definition of a girlfailure and god we love him for it. Any time he’s around it’s a treat. Also dc turning the horny up, even the house got cheeks.
