2025-03-11 20:39:04 +0000 UTCLook...i know in the comments there is alot of Nellie hate and at first i absolutely hated Nellie but after every rewatch, not only did i start loving Nellie more and more but i started really hating Andy. Andy left his job and went to Florida without telling anyone including his boss and then went after Erin even though he's in a committed relationship. To everyone in the comment section, Andy really sucks and Nellie was in the right.

Nellie stealing Andy's job is incredibly frustrating, and no one from the office other than Jim actually standing for him is just bizarre, especially since this whole season was about Andy earning the role of boss to all of his friends. The storyline with Erin is also just monumentally dumb, she's barely a functioning adult now (she doesn't even own a toothbrush for God's sake). That's just such a frustrating change to the show... We still will have some funny bits here and there, but man the next few reactions will be rough and I don't blame the normies

I’ve gone through the show a number of times and each time I think she won’t be that bad but she is so infuriating. I enjoy her character during the Florida stuff, but bringing her to Florida to steal Andy’s job was a horrible choice by the writers. The actress who plays Nellie plays the character well, but man I get irrationally upset when she is on screen. Robert California seemingly loses all of his competence and authority he had during the earlier/middle part of this season. I am convinced these string of episodes are responsible for the amount of hate season 8 gets
