Batgirls best costume is purple with yellow inside the cape, hate the tactical look it’s stupid, completely betrays the character of Barbra Gordon IMO

I might be in the minority but I don't like this version of Batgirl's costume. I prefer her costume from the Batman TAS tv show. One of the reasons I am glad the DCU was rebooted because the costume in the Batgirl looked similar and was not a fan of that costume either. Hopefully when she is introduced in the new DCU she has a more tactical costume like in some of the comics.

To be fair, the version of Damian y’all have been introduced to through these movies is way more likable than he actually was for his first couple years in the comics. For me at least, the majority of distaste for the character is residual from how he was when he was introduced. But he’s better now so that’s good

Okay this movie is next level wild compared to other dc movies, they really like to have fun and it shows. The way Alfred just casually catches two bodies while boxing that dude up never fails to get a reaction. Plus how cold everyone is with their lines, Thalia really shining as one cold hearted bitch. And this is why Damian is one of my favorite robins, not only is he about that life but he talks shit while doing his thing. He’s even mellowed out enough to not sweat it when he lets someone dies but will try his hardest to save them. And yeah the entire bat family is masters at catching people falling except when it’s Thalia escaping.

It’s not surprising you don’t know too much about batwoman, she doesn’t get the attention she deserves. Her character as gone through quite a few shifts with different people wearing the mantle ranging from civilians saved by Batman to love interests, but if you want to see more of her I sincerely hope you’ll check out Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman. Honestly might be her dopest design.

#Sunday Rundown, Suraj, I know you're just trying to hurt me with the Tim Drake slander, but it won't work. It is a shame that modern media refuses to give Tim his roses. But the best DC content is still the comics, and that is where Tim shines

If any of the normies read comics, hope they get a hold of Elegy Batwoman. It was amazing as an introduction of the character

I don’t see them reading this entire thing at all lol but this a great comment

#SundayRundown Comic Lore: Hey guys, been awhile since I left a comment, life has been hectic, but for some comic background regarding Damian/Tim/Dick etc. So as Suraj brought "people hate Damian", and for the most part, this era of Damian, and this part of him, and this adaption of him, people do tend to hate. So, to give some comic backstory, Dick Grayson and Tim Drake were generally always considered the most popular Robins, obviously, Jason is dead for the longest time, is dead from 1988 until 2005. In these eras, the general sentiment is "Dick Grayson is the best character" as his growth from Robin to Nightwing, his character arc and everything was seen as one of the biggest highlights in DC Comics, and then, "Tim Drake is the best Robin". This is because, after Jason's death, DC doesn't do Robin for awhile, then, they do a story arc where Tim Drake, this teenage genius, has figured out that Dick is Robin and Bruce is Batman, he realizes Batman needs Robin as Batman is getting more brutal and is getting closer to crossing that line. Tim tries to convince Dick to be Robin again, but instead, Dick and Bruce end up making Tim the new Robin. He has a whole arc with training to make sure he doesn't die like Jason, and he is seen as the *Detective Robin*, the Robin who matches Bruce as a detective. He's seen as the smartest Robin and also, the most relatable, as all through the 90s, he has his own comic series just called Robin, that follows Tim through high school, trying to get dates, trying to have a social life, all while balancing it with being Robin. His series is very *Spider-Man-y* as it follows Tim's social life as well as being Robin. He cares about being Robin, about being a detective and puts his all into it, and due to that, the comic fans, myself included, tend to view Tim as *the best at being Robin*, even if Dick is a more popular and better character, due to his arc as going from Robin to becoming Nightwing. Now when we get to Damian, we are actually adapting a lot of what this movie adapts, which is Grant Morrison's Batman run, which myself and many comic fans consider the best Batman comic run ever. In it, Damian basically shows up, tries to force Tim out of being Robin, and is an asshole to Dick and Tim and Bruce. Comic fans were not pleased. Tim was not given an arc like Dick, going from Robin to another hero, Damian just shows up and tries to take his job. In the comics, Bruce doesn't accept this and doesn't want Damian as Robin. Then, halfway through the run, we get a huge DC Comics event, Final Crisis, where Bruce seemingly dies and the Batman run connects with it in Batman RIP. (Bruce is actually sent back in time by Darkseid's Omega Beams but that is another story.) But then, for one year in the actual comics timeline, Bruce is seemingly dead, and Dick takes over as Batman, and he takes Damian on as his Robin, because to him, Tim was ready to move on, and someone has to reign in this Damian kid. So when Damian becomes Robin for the first time in the comics, he is not partners with Bruce, he is partners with Dick as Batman. This era of *Batman and Robin*, with Dick as the sarcastic and quippy Batman, and Damian as the moody and dark Robin, is beloved by comics fans and I consider it the best Batman and Robin duo ever. In fact... in the comics, Damian agrees. Bruce eventually returns, but Damian stays as Dick's Robin, however, at the end of Grant Morrison run, we get the stuff with Talia attacking Gotham, and Heretic/Clone Damian, however, in the comics, Dick and Damian are fighting side by side, Damian tells Dick *no one can tell him anything different, but the two of them were the best Batman and Robin ever*, before in the following fight, Dick is knocked out, before Heretic *kills Damian*. Right after the fans finally turn around on Damian and start to love him, after years of character development where he grows up, specifically by being mentored by Dick, Damian gets killed. The run eventually ends with Heretic and Talia dying when they are finally stopped by the Bat-Family, but the ultimate loss is Damian in a dark tragic very Batman ending (He is eventually brought back to life a few years later when Bruce and Dick lead the Bat-Family to Apokolips to use Darkseid tech to bring Damian back... it's a whole thing). So with the fans hating Damian here... the main reason is... these movies version of Damian is adapting like the very beginning of Damian, when he is an asshole and they have him become Robin right away, they constantly have him win fights, he is a dick to everybody and don't do most of the things for Damian's redemption arc, they just have him be a dick and stay a dick forever and don't do a lot of the things that are Damian's growth arc. Basically they are adapting the part of Damian comic fans hated and didn't do the stuff comic fans love

#SundayRundown: DCAMU “I haven’t seen Tim Drake be cool” You guys watched an entire season 2 of Young Justice where Tim was featured often and showed him doing cool things & you guys often said as much when you watched him. The YouTube reactions don’t lie 😉😂. Suraj ‘hates’ Tim & Rana hates the Lanterns for some reason lol Kate & Bruce in the modern area of DC comics are cousins but they don’t really confirm in this movie if they are or not. One criticism of this movie for me is that they made Talia way more evil than they should’ve. It felt forced. Either way, hyped for Justice League vs Teen Titans

Zee

#SundayRundown Batman Bad Blood Talia is weirdly wilder in this. They never explain why, but we assume it’s because she was saved from death with the Lazarus Pit. Prolonged use makes you crazy (Ra’s), being revived with it makes you crazy right away (Red Hood) Detective Renee Montoya! She’s technically like Harley, made for the animated series and then became a comic character, but she actually came out in comics months before the show started. She was voiced by Hera from Rebels here
