as already said Roy stalking Envy like a horror villain is terrifying and yes Pat got it right, he could burn Envy anytime but he's torturing him, just an amazing sequence can't wait for next ep.

2025-05-08 15:17:33 +0000 UTCThis episode is probably the best example of why I think FMAB is so perfect in it's content and construction. Not much is really over or understated throughout the whole thing. This is probably my 3rd or 4th time watching it and even knowing what's coming, and witheverything happening it still amazes me how easy it is to forget how big a factor Hughes was the whole time until Roy specifically asks Envy that question and I still feel that "uuuuuw SHYIT" moment every time.

2025-05-07 16:42:22 +0000 UTCPat got the message immediately. Yeah it's one thing to seek revenge and even justifiably so. But what Mustang has been doing here is like a cat toying with a small animal. He could easily kill Envy quick. Envy is literally having a panic attack running away in fear pulling every trick they can while Mustang walks them down like a horror villain. Burning small parts of them for fun and making Envy squirm. Mustang doesn't want justice or final revenge he wants to take pleasure in this for the pain he went through. It's not even necessarily that killing is wrong (only Ed and Al hold that ideology in the show personally) but saying there is a diffrence in killing a enemy in battle vs torturing one for satisfaction before ending it.
