It is funny because in the manga Kenny takes a lot less damage and they use a combined attack on him rather than just Candice.

During their conversations, he would imagine her snacks to munch on. Gremmy said that he would want to try cooking after the war is done, because it’ll be entertaining to try coming up with somethjng he couldn’t imagine after trying different food. When released from his imprisonment, he asked her how she’ll repay him for all the food he imagines,she told him, "When we start our thing with the Soul Reapers, if I see somebody you haven't been able to kill, I'll try hitting them while they're down." And that’s exactly what she and the other girls did to Kenpachi.

Turns out all that was needed was a little lightning to take him out. 🫤Candice taking him out was kinda hot though ngl. Do you guys think you would’ve done better with the Visionary against Kenpachi? 2025-05-01 06:45:25 +0000 UTCIchigo, and Uryuu refer to eachother as Kurosaki and Ishida respectively. Culturally you only address people by first name if you're close friends, family, or (you at least think) your status is so high it doesn't matter how rude you are. Writing wise this is done because both are the types of characters who would NEVER admit to being friends, but in English this doesn't come across nearly as much for Ichigo as it does for Uryuu. Although it may be more accurate to say Uryuu would never admit it, and would Ichigo would just play along at the surface level and be utterly surprised when things aren't mutual or even what he thought they were. Typical shounen protag stuff XD.
