#sundayrundown So i always felt with this episode both of Connors prophecies were fulfilled. From the Season 4 finale with "The father will kill the son" which happened when Angel had the knife in his hand "i really do love you connor" connor says so what are you going to do and angel responds back prove it and slashes him with the knife and then Vail remakes everything essentially killing that version of Connor.and then the Original prophecy gets fulfilled in this episode " (the one fathered by the vampire with a soul) would grow to adulthood and kill him".

Such a great episode. Such great acting from Connor, he’s playing a totally different (likeable) character. Did you notice when Spike is describing Illyria’s abilities he says he’s pretty such she can talk to plants. This is a nod to when Fred is first at the hotel n she’s stil a bit crazy and Cordelia mentions that Fred’s having a conversation with a plant.

Can we please have a compilation of Suraj’s “the homie Christian Kane” included in the celebration for y’all reaching the end of Angel :)

#SundayRundown "I don't like my throat touched" Call back to Holtz debating on snapping baby Connor's neck before hopping into Q'rtoth. Such a great episode. Connor realizing finally that Angel always did care for him. So sad but satisfying hearing Connor say "I learned that from my father.." Another reason why the latter half of season 5 is one of the best stretches in television history. 👏 👏 👏

Spidey should work for W&H with those psychic powers

#SundayRundown Here comes Connor with the glow up. His characterization was a breath of fresh air after all the tragedy he went through (and put us through). After the show, Whedon said that this version of Connor isn’t weighed down by his trauma and has all the upsides of vampires with none of the downsides. He can embrace his abilities without all the baggage. Also there is a theory amongst some of the fans that Connor was Angel’s Shanshu. That through a roundabout way Connor himself was Angel’s chance at being human. This was his reward. Given that Connor is an extreme version of Angel in some ways, I kinda like that idea. Connor gets to live the normal life that Angel can’t. In that way, the son surpassed the father. The greatest gift Angel could ever give Connor.

This is a really good episode, being able to see how Connor always should have been was great and to have that moment when he gets his memory back and still remains as he's become, instead of reverting to how he was .........we love some character growth. Also, I always get a little emotional when he says "I learned that from my father" , because for him to acknowledge (finally) everything angel's done for him and to truly appreciate it, is great and I loved it.

Maybe they can create a URL for streamable in the meantime

I liked this Connor and finally he appreciated Angel for being the kind of father who put his son’s needs above his own.

There's a typo in the Patreon sign in link on the redirect on the website which renders it inoperable
