He’s even ranked them in terms of importance: 1. Strength 2. Agility 3. Perception (detecting threats & sensing auras) 4. Vitality 5. Intelligence (he realized even with 27 points added to this stat he didn’t feel any smarter so he figured it had to do with magic reserves and decided it wasn’t a necessity atm since he was crafting himself into an Assassin build. Also points get added to each attribute when he levels up so he decided to let that stat grow via leveling instead of raising it individually himself). The anime also switched around the order of events from the way it happened in the manwha, initially Jinwoo got more training in with his daily quests and got stronger that way BEFORE going to the instance dungeon and defeating the snake boss Kasaka. The ways Hunters make money is by clearing dungeons and selling essence stones/mana crystals. A & S ranks receive sponsorships, commercials, tv appearances. Below A ranks income depend on the quality and quantity of raids completed as well as their experience as a hunter. As you’ve seen in the episode Jinwoo was slated to make 2mill just by participating in the raid and not fighting. PS. There are some other character interactions that have been cut as well but probably not as important to the overarching story, like a more fleshed out conversation between Jinwoo and his landlord and an explanation as to why he’s so lenient with Jinwoo and the rent payments, which is really wholesome. As well as a more in depth conversation between the nurses about Jinwoo and the nurse that asked for his number as well as that same nurse coming to the conclusion that Jinwoo actually did reawaken due to them finding him after the penalty zone with fresh blood on and around him but no sign of any actual injuries, so she assumes he has regeneration powers something that’s only found in high ranking healers or possibly higher ranked hunters but she couldn’t be sure as she’s never met any hunters over A rank.

To put how knowledgeable/experienced he actually is into perspective gates have been around for 10 years and he being raiding for 4 of those years and the newest S rank in Korea has only been a Hunter for 2 years, so like people have said in last weeks rundown he isn't getting smarter with the lvl ups and int stat increase. He was already a fairly smart person to begin with, he been around block despite his low rank given lower ranks usually don't live that long in this line of work. And of course you got groups like the ones on this episode who purposely use people as bait to get more money. For C rank hunters and lower it is basically the lawless wild west in dungeons so it is an occupation with an extremely high fatality rate the lower rank you are. Jinwoo surviving as long as he did in this line of work is nothing short of a miracle. So to end it off him wanting to keep his power a secret for now makes perfect he needs to make sure he becomes strong enough so he doesn't get taken advantage of.

The dirty corrupt political schemings is the reason the Korea has not alot of competent hunters because then the healthy competition dies and people climb to the top using unhealthy methods. Furthermore, i love how Jinwoo is different from usual shonen MCs where MCs flaunt their powers and tell them all whereas Jinwoo hides his abilities and is in E rank status. Also the double dungeon has really made him fearless. Typical example of when u meet the final boss at first stage. Btw Rana or Navi(whover is there in SR) Gojo vs Jinwoo. Pick one.
