#SundayRundown I think the point of Eve's mum's story is to answer Mark's hopelessness. He believes that people died because he tried to stick to his principles (not murdering), just like Eve's parents thought Eve would die for sticking to her principles. Her story shows that bad things happen anyway, we can only control who we are.

2025-03-07 00:36:01 +0000 UTC#SundayRundown I enjoyed the "Invincible War' as it was shown, and overall the episode was easily in my top 5 favorite episodes, however I am a bit sad at the final scene with Mark and Angstrom. In the comics, when Mark has Angstrom, he starts monologuing at him, calling him out and basically holding his life in the palm of his hands for a few minutes. That's when Oliver arrives and tells him to kill Angstrom, saying Mark keeps trying to delay what he should have done already. It was still a good scene, I just wish it was able to be expanded on more in the show. Anyway, great job guys, can't wait for next week. It'll be a Conquest!

I dunno; after two straight seasons of the guy it was kind of annoying that he's just out there. Hopefully when they inevitably bring him back again, it'll be done well enough to change my mind.

Imagine how cool of a foreshadowing and comic Easter Egg that would’ve been.
