How to: Change your email notifications
Added 2025-02-17 20:22:29 +0000 UTCHello!
We've noticed that there is a bit of confusion and mild levels of annoyance at the amount of emails people started receiving after we've implemented a new way of publishing here on Patreon.
We wanted to clarify why we decided to switch from "Daily links" type of posts to individualized video posts per reaction show.
First reason being, Patreon's UI will be changing, and we wanted to make sure that once it does, our content will be easily discovered and enjoyed without clicking on a link in a post with multiple other links leading to things you don't care to see.
Secondly, we've been constantly receiving feedback on our content organization and we knew that sooner or later we would need to utilize Patreon's new native features, like collections, better. So this change will also positively impact our collections, as those will also only include videos to those specific show reactions and no other links.
TLDR: This helps us tremendously in clearing up and reorganizing our content.
Understandably, there are a lot of people who rely on email notifications up to this point about daily releases, which can now become overwhelming as you would receive 3-5 emails a day, instead of just one. If you wish to change your email preferences, please follow this guide to know how.
Lastly, we want to assure everyone that we read comments (often out loud, in videos like Sunday Rundown), we read and respond to messages, chat and we also read welcome and exit survey responses. The best way to get a hold of us is via direct patreon message. If you are having access issues, technical issues, payment issues or anything of the sort, please DM us right away and we will work with you closely to find a solution. Other methods of communication (especially anonymous surveys) leave us no room to help you. So please do send us a message and we promise to get back to you as soon as we can!
A small note about old reaction videos: All of our content was removed from vimeo. No vimeo links work. All of our uncut videos, formerly on vimeo, are now hosted at thenormies.com.
Thank you all so much for your support, love (even the tough love we get in comments sometimes lol), and just for being here!
