I just had my weekly dose of "Disappointed in you for choosing comics as a waste of time" from my parents but that's okay. I understand them, they want me to get into computer science/programming at the very least. And I will try my best to get into a good university this year! But it's important to remember that dreams matter too.
(I am currently studying graphic designing, but that too is the same as digital illustration in other's eyes so lol)

I hope it gets better for you, i'm also stuck between choosing what I want and what my parents want even though I KNOW picking their choice will make my life so much more difficult. I made a huge, horrible mistake, and there is no one to blame but myself. 20 years later I’m still struggling, and still hating my choice. It never gets easier. Follow your dreams, you’re not living someone else’s life, and nobody will have to bear the consequences of chosing someone else’s dreams but yourself.
