The main difference between the Bear and the other high end restaurants is the professional talent. Carmy and Syd can operate on that level, but Tina doesn't have the experience or had that kind of professional training. And Carmy definitely isn't in the correct mindset to teach.

2024-12-24 19:59:07 +0000 UTCLove calling her Grimoire-chan XD The lines about living closer to death, and not being able to delay decisions really hit hard. While I get that it's technically often never really too late to start I just think of how early we (at least typical Americans) get asked "what do you want to be when you grow up", and how pertinent it is to take steps to build towards getting anywhere. I don't think a lot of people really figure that out until their late 20's assumin their not already set on a certain thing.

2024-12-24 16:54:42 +0000 UTC#SundayRundown Season 8 of The Office is very interesting in that it has several banger episodes and several that are just okay. I’ve always considered this to be one of the “just okay” episodes but it does have some great moments like Gabe as Lincoln.
