And out of left field comes . . . Gwyn Berdara, a character in the book A Court of Silver Flames, but with the personality and power my daughter gave her in her current fanfic, A Court of Ribbons and Shadows (She also wrote Between Enemy Lines and I absolutely love your art work for it!!). My daughter made Gwyn is a Prismsinger - wielder of color and light, able to create tangible illusions. She's a master of miscellaneous information - a weaponized nerd - snarky, intelligent and fiercely protective. She has red hair, teal eyes, is petite and wears "leathers" and a pair of quarterstaffs on her back. From the fic, "Gwyn releases her prism in a shock of light and color. The storm and the rainbow as it encircles her, billowing her hair—a goddess of lightning, painted entirely in shades of gray." And she illusioned a carnival complete with a group of synchronized swimming porcupines for fun.
