It got a few likes so clearly people do think it was something worth mentioning plus I remember their DBS reactions that had the same thing and they got annoyed by the previews. A non issue to you maybe, but not to a lot of other people. Like what are you? The ruler of this comment section? Who are you to decide what comments are worth it or not? I’m not sure why you’re seemingly so focused on a harmless comment meant to inform them of something, praying for you to get over it (seeing as how the initial comment was made over 2 weeks ago atp)

Luckily since Chad doesn’t have that problem we get to see more of his training and development.

One of the more interesting bits of symbolism is pretty consistent across various cultures and religions: The relationship between Sulphur, Mercury, and Salt. These were originally written about by Arabic alchemists, eventually being adopted by western alchemists and even making its way into judeo-christian mythology. Sulphur, Mercury, and Salt represented the Soul, the Spirit, and The body. This is why in judeo-christian mythology, you'll hear of people being turned into pillars of salt. This is basically saying their Soul and Spirit were taken from them, leaving behind just the body. Oh boy oh boy we're almost to the point in the show where I can talk about gnosticism! EDIT: Oof this wasn't short 😅

To me, it adds an extra layer of mortality, if Orihime wasnt there to heal him up, some of these injuries would be permanent on his Human body and that just makes me feel more uncomfortable. By the way, thank you for taking notice of my comment last week and im glad you are interested in Burn the Witch, if and when you do get round to watching it, please watch episode titled 0.8 and then the 3 episodes on Crunchyroll

2024-10-30 22:13:35 +0000 UTCCLOROX #SundayRundown 'Invaders Must Die' is not a reference to Space Invaders, it's a direct reference to the album/song by the same name from The Prodigy. I've always remembered it being one of the tracks they used for the Crysis 2 trailers(fuck I'm old) and it is to no surprise that someone with great taste in music like Kubo would incorporate it so succinctly into his manga. 'Dirty Boots' and 'Time Tells No Lies' are also named after songs iirc. You guys are really at the final stretch in this arc, there's just 10 episodes left so it'll be complete in 5 weeks. I relate to the frustration you guys have that nobody is communicating, but I'll save that rant for the end of this arc. Hopefully Chris can join back in time for the TYBW.

She had to accept her own strengths by understanding who she is Orihime proves Ginjo wrong, about being a healing tool. Now she will hurt those who try to point their blades at her allies. This distinction is crucial, as she isn't a fighter by nature but she found a way to fight that fits her using her defensive shield as an offensive mechanism Riruka and Orihime convo is interesting, ppl forget that Orihime was abused as a child [For anime only’s it didn’t happen] it’s important since it plays a role in why she dislikes hurting people, Riruka was bothered by her not being upset about her sad & tragic life, it’s obvious Riruka doesn't agree, and likely holds some ill feelings towards the past Ichigo being "blinded" is used both physically and metaphorically, Ginjo calls out that Ichigo doesn't even fully trust them, yet he's using them to get his powers back, we see that he has been acting out in ways that he wouldn't normally. Ichigo is lost, he's moving forward blindly & needs to open his eyes to the truth

2024-10-30 19:25:16 +0000 UTC#SundayRundown Bleach I really enjoyed the development Chad and Orihime recieved in this arc, since they where not as active to the end of the Arrancar saga, it is nice to see them with this much relevance to Ichigo and the plot. Also, not sure if you already know this, but in the TYBW arc there is no longer made up episode names, intead they use the actual manga chapter names so you will no longer have to guess a very random name. Also bad news for Rana since that arc also contains some of the most difficult names and conceps in all of Bleach, so good luck trying to read those.

2024-10-30 17:41:27 +0000 UTC#SundayRundown - Bleach Since we’re getting very close to TYBW now, I figured I’d bring this up - from the second episode onwards, the TYBW anime does that really annoying thing, like Dragon Ball Super did, where after the OP plays, it then plays a 10~ second preview of the episode you’re literally about to watch lol. And it can sometimes spoil things. At least, it does here on D+, I’m assuming it’s the same for over there in the US too. So I just wanted to warn you guys about that ahead of time. Hopefully the episodes are unblocked soon! Lol.
