Chapter 15 Kill or be killed

As the team JPRWBY and Ifalna were walking through a forest after killing all the wolf monsters.

There were many people watching them from somewhere using a hidden camera.

“Who are they? Are they Shinra soldiers?”

An old man spoke to a young man who was wearing a cloth like a ninja. the young man shook his head before replying to the old man.

“No sir. but we can not rule them out as soldiers from Shinra yet. What should we do about them? They seem to be heading to our village.”

The old man thought for a bit before he made a decision. He needed to steel his heart for every decision he needed to make.

“We can’t let them in, We are at war with Shinra. I am willing to kill the innocents rather than having to deal with them being spies from Shinra or not.”

“Understood elder. Everything will be done for Wutai.”

He then radioed to his people to deal with the unknown guests. He didn’t know what this group of people were capable of. The hidden camera they had was limited. So they could only put them around the important area only.

After he finished radioing with his team to deal with the stranger. It was time for him to take a break.

And when he was about to leave the operation room. A young girl ran towards him.

“Otou-chan this is the food Kaa-chan makes for you!”

“Yuffie? I told you many times not to come here, right?”

Godo sighed. His daughter, Yuffie, was very naughty and hard to control. She also wanted to be a ninja of the Wutai and participate in the war.

Of course, He loved his village but he loved his daughter more. He would never send her to war and let her die in vain.

In his heart he knew that Wutai would never win this war.

With that man being sent to the battlefield. Wutai will lose eventually.

‘Sephiroth. No one will be able to beat him on the battlefield. All we can do is prolong the time until we are eventually defeated.’

He hoped that when that time came. Only his life would be forfeited.

Not his family.

Inside the forest near Wutai Village.

Jaune was now feeling like he had been watched from a moment ago.

“Do you all feel something is missing in this forest?”

Hearing Jaune question. Everyone was ready for a fight.

With Jaune being a dragon faunus. His sense was very high. Even Blake as a cat faunus couldn’t be compared to him.

Blake then tried to listen and smell the air. She then frowned deeply.

“I can’t smell or hear the sound of monsters… We are still inside the forest, even though there shouldn’t be monsters everywhere. but they shouldn't have none, Either.”

And just as Blake was about to go and check deeper in the forest, they heard Jaune growling in anger.

“You dare!”

He disappeared right there and appeared close to Blake; his spear was thrust upward then pierced through someone who was hiding very well on the tree.

In his hand there was a kunai that was about to be used as a killing tool to snub out Blake's life.

“*cough* No…”

There was someone who wanted to kill Blake but Jaune was faster in defending her. He killed that man with a single strike of his spear.

He used a no name black metal spear right now. It was a silver grade that could not be compared to the spear of longinus but it was enough to kill someone with just cloth on their body.

Jaune wasn’t his old self anymore. He knew the concept of kill or be killed. and he chose to kill rather than having his people getting killed.

“Attack!”

After killing the man Jaune and everyone heard an angry shout. Then they were attacked by a group of very skilled ninja.

They were fast and ready to kill. They even used materia.

Pyrrha was the one that knew what she should do. She jumped back and guarded Ifalna. on the ground there was so much gray sand that she sprew from a little bottle that hoist on her waist.

The gray sand was actually iron sand from the Naruto world.

She then controlled the sand with her semblance to protect and defeat the enemies.

Godo ate his food with a delighted smile on his face. His daughter was also eating it with him too this made the food more delicious.

The two were now sitting under the shade of a big tree. They hadn’t had a chance to spend much time together lately because of the war.

“It’s very delicious Otou-chan”

“If you like it you can eat more, Otou-chan isn’t that hungry.”

“Really, Thank you Otou-chan!”

Because of the war there was not much food left in the village. all the food they have they need to send them to the front line.

Now even with his status. He could only feed them so only for them to not be hungry. They can not eat extravagantly.

And as the two ate lunch together, they hear a warning sound that resounded loudly through the whole village.

“Enemy!”

Godo stopped eating and stood up with haste. He looked at Yuffie before ordering her.

“Go home now!”

The warning sound meant that the enemies were approaching the Village and might break through the defense at any given moment.

Yuffie was scared but she still did as she was instructed. She ran home as quickly as possible to tell her mother about the danger.

Godo, After he was sure that Yuffie actually listened to him. Then he went to the wall of the village. He was ready to fight to the death. and when he was on the wall. He breathed in the cold air.

There was a group of strangers that he had ordered his people to kill. They came to the village with the people he sent out to kill them. They had been badly beaten but were not dead yet.

“What should we do, Master?”

A young man said to him with anxiety. There’s people he knew inside the group that were taken hostage now.

He needed to tread this carefully otherwise there might be an infighting. and with the danger roaming around them. He can’t let it happen.

“Let's talk to them and ask what they want. I’ll be the spokesperson.”

Jaune and his team were now infront of the village of the ninjas that attacked them.

Jaune wanted to use his spear and broke through the wall and beat the one who sent the ninjas to kill him and his team.

They didn’t even check first if they were enemies or not. They just want to kill them and get rid of the problem if they were spies or not.

Now they knew they weren’t Shinra soldiers. but the opposite force that would fight Shinra if needed.

Ifalna convinced him to heal those who still didn’t die yet to let them be the bargain chip for them.

“What do you want?”

A middle aged man asked Jaune after he jumped down from the wall with his guards. They looked at Jaune and his team warily.

Jaune breathed out a little before speaking. There was a spark here and there around his body. He was ready to fight with the thunder breathing technique. the quickest and deadliest technique he had.

“Who sent these people to kill us?”

Jaune asked directly.

The middle aged man was silent a little before he sighed and told him that it was him who ordered them to kill him and his friend.

“It was me who sent them to kill all of you. If you want revenge then kill me and let them go.”

“Master! You can’t do that!”

All the ninjas around them were ready to die for this man.

Jaune snorted when he saw everyone were ready to fight for the middle aged man.

“Do you think you all can stop me if I want to kill him?”

Jaune then gave them an example.

He thrust his spear very fast and the wall behind the middle aged man was punctured. There was a big hole through the stone wall.

“Can you really stop my spear before it reaches his head?”

No one can answer that. They knew the answer was no. They can’t even see his attack. How can they defend against it?

And as the tension was climbing to a very high degree, A woman then spoke out.

“Jaune, please. We come to negotiate, not to kill them.”

The woman who spoke to Jaune was Ifalna. She will act as a good cop here. She was going to play with their minds a little bit.

She knew that they were far away from where her daughter was. They need their help if they want to cross the continent.
